Useful ToDo list/productivity gamification app? Posted: 04 Dec 2021 08:32 AM PST Since google play filters are trash (I mean there are no filters at all) I thought to ask here. I'm looking for an application that gamifies the todo lists/productivity process. * App must be offline only; * The application may be single pay or free; * It must not have any ads or functionality related in-app purchases (I can accept visual only purchases like skins, icons or whatever but no premium-like functionalities or similar); * The app has to support at least english language; Example applications that being tested and/or somehow fail to meet all the requirements but within acceptable threshold: * LifeRPG (Jayvant Javier Pujara) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jayvant.liferpgmissions - You have to pay to unlock own avatar (cosmetic) and map functionality (not really important) * EpicWin - RPG style to-do list (Supermono Ltd) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.supermono.epicwin - Ads Example applications that fail to meet the requirements but present the general idea: * Do It Now: RPG To Do List. Habit Tracker. Planner (Taras Lozovyi) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.levor.liferpgtasks&hl=en_US&gl=US * Level Up Life - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lvluplife.lvluplife * RPG Notes (Crystal Peak) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.crystalpeak.rpgnotes * Epic to-do list — RPG planner with reminders (Alexander Kolmachikhin) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kolmachikhin.alexander.epicto_dolist * 10000 hours - skill tracker (Time Management Studio) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.time_management_studio.skill_tracker_10000_hours * Habitica: Gamify Your Tasks (HabitRPG, Inc.) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.habitrpg.android.habitica * LifeUp: Gamification To-Do & Tasks List | HabitRPG (AyagiKei) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.sarasarasa.lifeup * RPG ToDo List & Calendar. Habit Tracker. Organizer (myPoli) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.ipoli.android * Productivity - Daily Routine GTD Task List Planner (Success Wizard) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zilapps.productivitywizard Maybe you have found usefull application that you use and actualy meet the requirements? Alternative to Final Countdown Posted: 04 Dec 2021 08:16 AM PST I've been using an old app called Final Countdown for a couple of years since it was removed from the app store. Basically, you could set a date and time and it would tell you how many days, hours, etc. until then. It also had a widget that could display the information on the home screen as well. The widget doesn't work anymore on Android 11, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a similar app. [link] [comments] |

Can anyone recommend an app to create animated stickers from video with crop and add text? Posted: 04 Dec 2021 06:53 AM PST I've found several apps that can make stickers from videos, but none that allows cropping the video nor adding text on top of it. Can anyone recommend any? [link] [comments] |
Recording videos directly on the cloud storage (in other ways than FB or YT live) Posted: 04 Dec 2021 05:53 AM PST I'm looking for a way of recording and storing videos for private use, with the video being instantly uploaded just like YT live recording allows. I was thinking of using it without publishing the video, but I cannot use because of subscribers count requirements. Do you know of any alternatives maybe? Thanks! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 04 Dec 2021 12:13 AM PST Hello! I have always rooted my phones as soon as I got them and then used titanium backup or manually copying the files from /data/app to transfer my app's private data over. How however I just bought a new phone that is not rootable. I kinda assumed android would have some form of an automatic transfer capability to move everything over, but apparently I was wrong? Here is what I have tried so far:
It has been 6 years since I upgraded my phone, and I really did not expect it to be this freakin difficult to transfer everything to a new phone. Am I missing something obvious here???? Please tell me there is some way to transfer app data to a new phone and not just the apps themselves. I have a small handful of games I play on android like desert golf. I would be really sad to lose my progress in the games, and I would also love to not have to go in and reconfigure the other apps I regularly use such as remote desktop and the like. I've spent my entire afternoon trying to get everything transferred over. Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Dec 2021 03:58 AM PST Hi all, I'm using a Samsung galaxy s9+ but recently I keep getting a pop up saying that 'Google play isn't working' or something along those lines and i keep clicking 'exit app' and 'open again'. After doing this so many times I'm wondering if there's a way I can fix this issue? Also whenever I actually try open the Google play app it kicks me out telling me it's not working. Any advice? :) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Dec 2021 03:18 AM PST Left ear has 5-10dB hearing loss for certain low frequencies. This makes music/videos seem off-center and it's driving me mad. Is there a way to increase the output volume of those frequencies by the amount of dB hearing loss for just the left channel? No amps, only phone. Thanks. EDIT: Found the solution. Poweramp EQ. God-Tier. It's like my ear is working again for the first time in ages. [link] [comments] |

Is there an app to easily organize videos and text with exercises that I would be doing at the gym? Posted: 03 Dec 2021 01:57 PM PST Hello! First of all, I am not native english and I am sorry for any grammar mistakes and also for the way I type or words I use. I am looking for basically some app that let's me easily organize videos, text, photos or whatever, in a simple way. I don't know how to explain so I will give an example of something I imagine should exist, but maybe you know even better apps: - The app basically looks like the notes app, or whatever, so I can for example make a new note: GYM EXERCISES MONDAY, and I write the name of the first exercise; - The app lets me upload a media file with someone showing how to do it, and maybe to add more media files, like another video that you find relevant to that exercise, you get the idea; - Right under it, I am able to write anything I want eg. how many reps I should do, how to do them, etc. - Then I'm able to scroll a bit, again, repeating the steps with the next exercise, writing it's name, uploading a video, typing relevant info, repeat with next, etc. I just want something easy to use, intuitive, it just seems like an app that has been done countless times before, maybe I don't know what to search for. I want an app like this basically because, let's say, I have a 15 minute long video on youtube showing everything that guy does in a week at the gym, I want to cut the all the exercises independently and have the relevant info he told eg. reps, tips about the exercise etc, attached for each of them, in a simple way, like I said, maybe notes style, scrolling down through the videos and the info. Sorry again for me not being able to express myself properly and thank you in advance! EDIT: After talking to someone in the comments, I decided to throw together this quickly in Photoshop to put in view what I had in mind searching for an app that suits my needs. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 03 Dec 2021 07:31 PM PST We all know by now that you can't correctly use the nav gestures with a 3rd party launcher effectively. I use a gesture app, edge gestures, to overlay and simulate the bottom gesture but obviously it is hit or miss conflicting with the original gesture bar. What do you do? I can't go back to using nav buttons, doesn't make sense after getting used to the gestures. Should we all just stay with stock from now on? Appreciate thoughts and ideas. [link] [comments] |

Easy to use app that easily shows IN-GAME FPS NOT phone screen FPS? Posted: 03 Dec 2021 09:18 AM PST Since Pokemon go now has a native refresh rate unlocked, I want to know what my FPS was before unlocking the refresh rate. However upon using any app like Display FPS or developer options, it only displays the FPS of my phone, not the game. I can tell this is true because turning off native FPS still displays 90 FPS, but the game is choppy and definitely at least 30 FPS or 60. Does anyone know an app that actually displays IN-GAME FPS?
