| Posted: 11 Nov 2021 06:29 PM PST I own a ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 with AMD Ryzen 9 and Nvidia RTX 2060. Let's say I'm playing normal minecraft, no shaders, averaging about 100+ fps. I have my laptop on my cooling pad with high speed fans, and an open space below it to draw in air. But when I check HWI Info, it's telling me I'm constantly running at 80-90 degrees Celsius, even on the lowest settings for games. Is there something up with my CPU cooling? I would expect lower temperatures with the grade of hardware I have. Or is cooling really just this bad for laptops :/ [link] [comments] | ||

Not gonna lie, the laptop is pretty smooth, but I can't connect the wireless keyboard and the internet connection is slow. I noticed, that lots of Vaio assets and programs are missing. Then I realized I made a clean install of Windows 10, but the user before probably formated the recovery partition. So I wouldn't help myself even if I could revert a time... I've quite a few windows laptops in the past and all of them have had some sort of issue within a year or two of owning them which makes me think that maybe going with a MacBook would be a better option. I have a custom desktop at home and I've always preferred pcs but the last couple of windows laptops have turned me off of them. Was wondering what people's thoughts are on this and asking for recommendations.
