Posted: 11 Nov 2021 09:45 PM PST i know this is kind of a weird question but i have 3 sim cards ( 2 phone numbers for calling ,sms ,authentication services . and i usually carry 2 phones with me one daul sim and one single sim. all of them are my personal phones so i would rather have one phones and 3 sims active at the same time honestly all i need is 2 sims one ( one phone number which i mainly use to contact people and one with data plan. the other phone number i only use it to receive calls and some authentication services ) but the problem is that i use both of these number in a lot of sites for authentication + some people still contact me on both of them is there any kind of device that would help me achieve this i researched like hell and came up with a couple of solutions 1- simore adapter : i can insert all 3 sims in my phone this way but only 2 would be active at the same time its good if you move from country to country frequently but in my case its useless since i need all 3 sims active 2- simore router : this is the might be the only solution for me its a device you set up in your home and connect your internet router and insert up to 4 sims and all of them would be active at the same time and you can receive sms and call from you phone using their app but the app SUCKS and most of the time you wont even receive messages nor calls as the reviews says i know that the obvious solution would be to change my number in all the sites i use and tell people to contact me on my main phone but to be honest that a major pain in the ass and i don't even know what sites uses what phone and what people call me on which number [link] [comments] |

Posted: 11 Nov 2021 09:21 PM PST Galaxy note 8 working great with 64GB internal and 128GB microSD. 59.71GB of the 64GB internal memory is used by a file listed as other. Most of my apps and all photos, vids, docu etc are on the microSD (57.94GB of120GB) and Ive cleared catch but cant even find the data that makes up this other file to delete. Trying to clear without factory reseting, Need help any ideas would be appreciated. [link] [comments] |

I had some texts on there that were automatically backed up to google drive, but I obviously need an Android device to get access to it. I've been trying to restore it through several versions the Emulator but it keeps crashing/hanging at some point in the process. I've accidentally almost dialed 911 three times today because of the new feature where if you press the power button enough times in a row, it'll contact emergency services. | Best way to aggressively save battery? Posted: 11 Nov 2021 06:52 PM PST Is there anything I can do to slow how fast an Android phone dies/uses battery? The phone is relatively new but it's a low quality 45$ phone I'm using as like a tool for something. I need to avoid anything that could hurt the mobile data connectivity so I believe simply turning on power save mode isn't a good option for me. I'm thinking maybe if there's like a program I can install that would limit unnecessary battery usage or maybe an app I can install that will allow me to choose which apps use power and which don't as I only really need to use around 4 apps. | Why are my images blurry and have sharp outlines on my new phone unless I press on one. Posted: 11 Nov 2021 06:35 PM PST So I just got my new phone today and set up my Google photos. I noticed that my backed up photos are blurry and sharp. I tried downloading a new image to see if it's different but it still happens. However when I press on a single image it looks great but only when I do that. My images also look fine on any other gallery apps so it seems specific to Google photos. I've had many different Android phones all of them inferior to this new one but i have never experienced this before. I tried going messing with my phones display setting and that didn't work and I also tried going to apk mirror so I could try using a different dpi but that didn't work either. It's similar to the idea of having an external monitor attached to a laptop in which you can have individual contect on each monitor; a simple idea would be to cast a photo into the tv while I'm browsing on the phone for the next image to display. The project I'm working on would involve video or more active content instead of just pictures. I hope my idea was understandable, if not let me know so I can try to explain it better. Posted: 11 Nov 2021 10:43 AM PST Before I updated to 12, I could open the phone app and drag my favorite contacts around to arrange them as I wanted. Now, the app forces you to sort them either by first or last name. There's no way to deselect the sort. | How do I automatically turn off cell service while on wifi? Posted: 11 Nov 2021 05:14 PM PST I'd like to preserve my phone battery. I often turn on airplane mode along with my wifi while I am on my home or office wifi network and it helps my battery life significantly. Is there a way I can automate this with my Pixel so when I am within range of my home or office wifi, my cell service will automatically turn off while keeping wifi turned on? Ideally, my cell service would then turn back on when I am out of range of my preferred wifi networks. Is there a setting for this or an app I should use? Any help is much appreciated! | Posted: 11 Nov 2021 04:18 PM PST I downloaded an app from Github and after an hour, I figured out how to install it with adb on pc. It's a proxy switch called Proxy Toggle. App allows you to toggle on and off the proxy that you input. Here is my problem. The proxy that I am using requires a password and username. For browsers, I simply login to the proxy but with apps, I don't have that option. Is it possible to add the username and password into the app or the ability to input the username and password? | OnePlus Nord N10 sms app incompatible? Posted: 11 Nov 2021 02:06 PM PST I have a OnePlus Nord N10. During an update a while back, the sms app that came with the phone became incompatible, so I installed Google messages. My first question is, why do I have the option to only use sms/mms for some people and not others (on Google messages)? If I don't have it toggled on, my texts don't always send until I do turn it on. My second question is, how the heck did the sms app that CAME with the phone become incompatible?
