Game playing in window, and can't figure out how to disable it Posted: 11 Nov 2021 07:33 PM PST Device: Samsung Galaxy S9+ Game: Knights of Pen & Paper +1 As the title says, I'm playing a game and it seems to be playing in some sort of "windowed" mode with a small strip of my home screen above it, and a bigger, row sized, strip of my home screen below it. Tapping in either of these areas brings me straight back to my home screen. Which, is really easy to do on accident. I've looked for an option to disable it, but haven't found anything. I tried removing the game from the game launcher, it still opened in the window. I've also tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game, and it's still windowed. Any ideas on how to remove it? PUBG: New State requires you to disable Developer Options and it's completely unacceptable Posted: 11 Nov 2021 12:46 AM PST This is a full stop for me and probably many others that require it. I need Developer Options enabled to work and do tasks from my home PC. I need way too many of those options on a daily, some times hourly, basis and disabling it for a videogame is just not feasible. The settings were of course blocked to prevent cheaters and hackers, but it's such a lazy method of stopping them that it actually makes me question the quality of their actual in-game protection. They currently locked their support email and bouncing every new one, so there is currently no way of asking them about it. Not that it would matter, as there will be just a response with "you have to do it", if that. Currently don't waste your time on the game if you are also need Developer Options, unless they find out how bad of a decision this is. [link] [comments]

Looking for apps with drop down menus. Posted: 11 Nov 2021 02:34 PM PST Im trying to replicate a bug with my devices os where dropdown menus can make apps crash. The only game I use which utelises drop down menus isn't available on the play store, the devs require an app from the play store to investigate the issue further. So I'm just hoping for a few suggestions of apps from the play store which have drop down menus. Any help is appreciated. Tia. [link] [comments]
Bought my first phone powerful enough for gaming, any recomendations? Posted: 11 Nov 2021 05:26 PM PST I usually play games on my PC but I finally got a phone powerful enough to play more demanding games, so I'm looking for stuff to play that isn't available on PC. The only games so far I've downloaded are Cytus 2 and Wild Rift. Both free and paid games are ok. [link] [comments]

I want to develop a game demo as a proof of concept, what is the best way to approach this? Posted: 11 Nov 2021 09:41 PM PST Hello! I'm a designer and have an idea for a smarphone game, but I don't program or know how to make an android game. I have the idea, assets, objectives and all the details, but I need help with transfering the idea on paper into a game demo and if it works maybe launch a more complete game. How do I ask or search for programers? For example: "I'm looking for someone that can program in 'this' game engine" In short, I have a game idea that would like to have it made into a game, but how do I search and ask for the correct people to work with and develop the project? Thank you and have a nice day. [link] [comments]
Best android emulator for windows 10? - 2021 Posted: 11 Nov 2021 10:44 AM PST Hey guys, I've been searching for some good emulators but can never get any real clarity, like people saying some emulators are good and others saying the same ones are bad. So far I've seen people recommending against Bluestacks and Nox, seems like they're troublemakers(?) I've seen people recommend LDPlayer and Mumu But since most threads I find online are outdated (usually around 1 year ago), I decided to ask the questions again. So with that said, what is the best emulator? (Oh and if helps, I'm planning to play Azur Lane on it) [link] [comments]

So far I've tried Chess Rush, but I found the UI and overall menus too cluttered. Any other turbo autochess recommendations? Thanks [link] [comments]

Safety/Education Certificates For Mobile Children Games Posted: 11 Nov 2021 06:57 AM PST Hi, since my knowledge of the topic is pretty weak, I wanted to ask my questions within this subreddit. We started developing mobile games for little children (aged 3-10) as a small team. Since we are a newbie in children's gaming, we don't know the exact certifications, labeling etc., in this area. Our games aim to develop children's skills in different categories and not include ads or share user data with third-party analytics companies. So when we publish our games on the App Store and Google Play, we want to promote our games as "safe and educational" in the parents' eyes. Even though these platforms already have some approval and labeling mechanisms, we are unsure of the most essential or credible ones. Additionally, should we find other third-party organizations focused on children's safety and education (if so, which organizations suit our interest)? What type of marketing or development properties would you guys like to see for these types of games? Ps: Thank you for sparing your time to read. All kinds of replies are appreciated, whether from a developer's perspective or a parent's point of view. [link] [comments]
A missing game I really wanna play so bad Posted: 11 Nov 2021 03:54 AM PST Hello! How is everyone doing today? I hope you guys are doing well! So there was this game I was playing years ago but I uninstalled it because there was parts of my phone back then where you can't pressed which was annoying and I couldn't play the game completely because there was an important button where I could not press. It was a zombie themed game, it's also an 8-bit game. I really don't know what the whole story is but there was this good guy who has a bunker and your goal is to get there. Both of you also have walkie-talkie which is why you can talk to each other. Then suddenly while you're talking to each other, someone intruded his bunker then the signal between the walkie-talkies began static. So basically your goal is to check if he is safe. Additional Information: You can get into people's houses and some of them have locks where you need to picklock. It is also a solo themed game if I'm not wrong and it is in the google play store back then but I can't find it there now. I also played it on android. (I'm not a hundred percent sure here but I think its not free but I was able to install it back then because google play has it free for a period of time.) I hope someone can help me find the game I was finding for a few months now! I really hope so and if you know the game, kindly reply here and I will check, thank you everyone and have a good day! Posted: 11 Nov 2021 05:44 AM PST I am trying to remember a name of a game, or get suggestions to games that are similar. There was a game I used to play probably about 6+ years ago that was basically your run of the mill city builder type game, like clash of clans however there was a large map and you could physically take over other players cities, join alliances, etc. It had multiple worlds and seperate worlds would be created so that everyone was on an even playing field and all had just started. I enjoyed the ability to actually take over player controlled cities and there was a risk of actually just losing all your progress if you lost a war. The political intrigue that would form mid-late game was always a blast. If anyone knows what game I am talking about I would appreciate it, or even just a similar game too it that isn't extremely p2w. [link] [comments] |
