[REQUEST] Game like Beatstar without the ludicrous mtx?

    Posted: 03 Nov 2021 09:21 AM PDT

I recently downloaded it and I liked the casual feel to it, but I hate how suffocating the microtransaction loop is. Have to wait 2 hours to open a box to get cards for maybe a genre you'd like and you can only have three boxes at a time and after that you can't play? Really? Not to mention how the "gems" are required to keep playing a song after a single mistake and also the gems happen to be the currency you use to unlock boxes.

    • I don't care about the licensed songs. While it's neat that Beatstar has such a big collection of popular songs, it's not necessary.

    • Emphasis on casual. Looking around for other rhythm games and some of the gameplay is just too complex and the difficulty ramps up too quickly for my tastes.

    • Don't care if it's paid. Would rather pay for a full game than "free" but mtx-riddled.

A Guide to Diablo Immortal to play anywhere

    Posted: 03 Nov 2021 09:32 PM PDT

Get Kiwi Vpn from playstore. Set it to Australia. Open Playstore again, create and login with a new account. Start downloading Diablo Immortal. Now you can close Vpn. Pretty easy stuff.

[REQUEST] ISO name of kids monster truck app

    Posted: 03 Nov 2021 01:55 PM PDT

Looking for the app my kid played elsewhere.

    • It's a monster truck game.

    • We could choose from several different trucks, maybe 12 (?),

    • There were buttons on the bottom of the screen, two on each side, <- -> , the other side to make it jump and something else.

    • Truck just followed a up and down dirt road. Nothing fancy. ~ kinda like that.

    • Trucks were colourful, but didn't have faces.

    • No person, no story.

    • Just a truck you can move along the track.

    • If it falls on the roof jump again and you can keep playing.

    • Targeted towards younger kids.

Do you have any idea what it's called?

Rush Royale and Random Dice... How have they evolved ?

    Posted: 03 Nov 2021 02:44 PM PDT

    Hello,

I've just discovered both Random Dice and Rush Royale today. Of course you can imagine my surprise when I've seen these games were pretty much the same. From what I've found on the net, Rush Royale just copied Random Dice... But in the end that's not what I need to know.

Since both of these games are totally new to me, I've liked the gameplay and want to keep playing, but I'll surely focus on one only so, I'd like to know the major differences between these 2 (since some time has passed since "the initial copy"), and if there's one that is better than the other ?

Help me find an action game I played 8 yrs ago

    Posted: 03 Nov 2021 01:09 PM PDT

You play as a fighter in a tower and every time you beat all characters in a room , you climb a floor , the combat system let you tap on the left or right of the screen to punch in those direction , when you swiped it made a stronger attack , I remember the art style being very cartoons , a bit like brawl stars.

Grindy non-gacha game with some PvP features

    Posted: 02 Nov 2021 11:07 PM PDT

    Hello.

I like idle/semi-idle/grindy games that are oriented towards daily farming routines but not heavily oriented towards gacha (via crates opening for "SSR Heroes" and such).

Two examples I can think of are Crush Them All and Tap Titans, which let you farm every day without the need to buy some op hero. Unfortunately, I find tap titans to be extremely boring and without any interesting pvp aspect. Crush Them All however is really fine, plus it's portrait mode so it basically fits in what I'm looking for.

Do you know similar games that I could add to my library ?
