| Help degrading A51 OS to get rid of the google account. Posted: 03 Oct 2021 07:34 PM PDT My girlfiend's aunt forgot his pattern to unlock his A51 and also his google account linked to it and i am the "tech savyy boyfriend" she wants to sell it so the data it is not a problem I've already tried so many things. Firstly I hard reset it and restored factory new, then using Odin with the cellphone in flash mode I tried to put an older os to get advantage of old seccurity failures but it was useless (I've tried several). The frp bypass doesn't work (the one that opens a youtube window) the pop up won't pop up... i dont know if it is a drivers problem or what exactly (i downloaded ones) The device is an A51 F has android 11, it is a binary 5 (11/515fxxu5eug3) and I could not find any android 10 with bin5 os to flash it. I am little bit lost on how to continue or what im i doing wrong, there has to be a way. Please help me I dont want to give it back locked it up. What should i try next? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 03 Oct 2021 12:07 PM PDT Spotify allows you to download songs for offline listening, that being said I still want to turn mobile data on when im driving for my other apps but I want to make sure that spotify, under no circumstances, streams through mobile data. How do I do that on Android? When I go into the app info settings I can turn off "background data usage" but not sure if that means mobile streaming. [link] [comments]  |
| moved Sd card files to hidden folder Posted: 03 Oct 2021 09:40 PM PDT I recently got a new phone and i couldn't move my secure folder files so i moved them out of secure folder kept them on a SD card and kept the SD card in my new phone. so i did get the files but then i selected the albums and pressed move to secure folder. after that i lost the files i cant view them in secure folder or on my laptop. i kept the sd on my old phone and i got the albums but the files could not be open. can anyone help? I have a Sony device with Lineage OS and I'm super happy with my DeGoogled cellphone. I searched for customs ROMs for this tablet, but I believe there are no options at the moment (Maybe I'm wrong?). So, If a custom ROM is not an option, I just want to uninstall all the garbage, all google, and all applications and or services I simply don't want and don't like and don't use. I don't know if a complete Google uninstall works. I don't use the Play Store, Maps, Drive, GAPPS, etc. Also, the non-critical Samsung apps. I know this is likely to be a root thing, but I'm kind of scared of burning this new device, so any guidance from S7 users, or more experienced Android people will be gladly appreciated. Posted: 03 Oct 2021 03:19 PM PDT Hi all - I have an S21 5G and lately I have noticed in my recent files that a "fb.bin.png" file keeps getting downloaded randomly and I cannot tell where it is from. It lists itself as a picture file but it is clearly not and shows a missing image when trying to open it. I haven't downloaded any new apps or changed any permissions. When I go check on the details of the file the path is "/Internal storage/Documents/fb.bin.png" so I cannot even tell what app is downloading this file. I suspect it is Facebook but I've also had Facebook & Messenger for some time with no issues. What else can I do to figure out where this is coming from? [link] [comments]  |

Every other site listed only has a few MB, if that. Why is this the case? Is it advertising related? If so, why have a never seen an ad from the site? | Can I install one ui 3/android 12 on a galaxy tab 4 Posted: 03 Oct 2021 07:50 PM PDT I found my brother's galaxy tab 4 that he doesn't use, I'm using it for my self now and I've been trying to upgrade the software as much as I can, like installing the latest version of Google play store, smart things, and the galaxy store, I've also used nova launcher with a one ui skin to get the best up-to-date Samsung experience i can. But I want to install android 11 with one ui 3 but I can't find anyone that has managed to install one ui with any type of android 11 and I want to know if it's possible because I don't want to get a stock android tablet as it won't fit with my Samsung products I have already and it just won't be as good, if there is a guide on how to install one ui on linage os or something then I'll be happy if anyone would like comment a link down in the comments [link] [comments]  |

| Any way to fix the light yellowish tone on google play books? Posted: 03 Oct 2021 06:43 PM PDT When I open the google play books app the screen has a light yellowish tone but before it was white, this only happens in play books app, I checked and I have night mode disabled, I deleted the app and re download it again and nothing fixes it, also when I take a screenshot the image does appear normal and without the yellowish tone, any idea on how to fix this? Very broken, only a few spots work with touch, but I can see about 50% of it. Any suggestions for getting stuff off it? Photos, videos, contacts are most important then messages then apps and data. Posted: 03 Oct 2021 06:01 PM PDT At lock screen, whenever I swipe down for the control center to change anything (turn on bluetooth, airplane mode, Wi-Fi etc), it will require me to unlock my phone before it does anything. I looked through the settings and didn't find an option to allow changes at lock screen, which is something my previous phone did and I'm used to. Would appreciate any help on the issue as it's really annoying to have to log in every time I need to turn off or on something. [link] [comments]  |

| How to get all files off Android with a broken display and no touchscreen? Posted: 03 Oct 2021 03:33 PM PDT I have two phones I would like to recover files Both have been sitting so long that they don't accept biometrics so I have to put in the pin, I can't do this without a display or touchscreen as far as i know, both phones have USB debugging enabled but I can't use a simple file transfer cable because I have to allow file transfers when the pop up appears, obviously I can't do this without a display or touchscreen I can't really navigate using a mouse and keyboard without the working display Any help would be greatly appreciated! Posted: 03 Oct 2021 02:49 PM PDT I only use my phone(A20, Android 11) to listen to music, like an iPod, so I turned on the power save mode 'cause I don't want other apps to SUCC Up the battery. But every time I turn off the screen, It kills the music app after like 5 seconds. I tried adding it on the never sleeping apps, turn off the adaptive battery and optimized battery usage, allowed background activity but it did not work. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 03 Oct 2021 10:56 AM PDT My pixel has stopped connecting to Windows 10, I've tried different cables, I've tried different usb ports, when I connect my phone, my pc does the connection notification, when I enable usb file transfer on my phone it makes the notification noise again but I can't see my phone on windows. My old phone still connects fine and I can transfer files to it. When I go to device manager with my phone connected it also doesn't show up there. Does anyone know what's wrong? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 03 Oct 2021 02:15 PM PDT The other day I thought I lost my phone when I went out and couldn't find it because it was dead, thankfully it was hidden underneath the seat of my car. Because of that, I got a little paranoid and started googling how to back up data, and the answer I got was different every time. So, that's why I decided to make this post asking you guys if you had a reccomendation on what to do. (Also wanted to know if there was a way to list all the apps on my phone and back that up as well, since there's quite a few I've downloaded from github and a few other websites and I don't think I'll be able to remember them all.)
