What Android feature did you think you would never use but ended up using a lot? Posted: 02 Oct 2021 01:20 PM PDT For me it's text select from recents. I thought it was a complete waste of space and I would never use it. Now I use it all the time. It's so useful! I still don't like that recently used apps bar is gone from the recents in Android 11 as I thought it was very convenient and made work flow between apps faster and the screenshot shortcut is useless to me, but text select is great! There are many areas in Android and apps where you want to quickly copy some text but native text selection is not available. If you wanted that text, previously you had either type manually or use Google Lens, but text select makes things much quicker and easier. [link] [comments] | ||
