I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max got it on launch day last year and I'll probably just pay this off into next year I'm getting kinda bored of iOS and it seems Apple isn't really open to innovate. I don't know a whole lot about this company but the few videos I seen were there mid range phones and even they had top tier specs for more than half of what my iPhone costs me and if anyone knows ANY carrier compatibility please let me know thank you! Examples include the Themes app not spinning the colors and the Settings gear not spinning when I close the app. They used to be animated in MiUI 12 but not anymore and I don't know why. We can install google play services via mi app store, change the to English default language and should be good to go. But are there other things that could be missing from an actual global variant rom or another tablet like Samsung's? Am not looking to flash custom rom as I find it too troublesome. I am trying to download a vaccination certificate onto my google pay app - which my government says they have enabled. Only problem, when I click on the "download to G-pay wallet" link, the "open with" menu only gives me the default browser or chrome as an option. I click on chrome, which tells me to click the link and open it in google pay..only it just gives me the same 2 browser options again. Is there a way to expand the "open with" menu? I just updated my MIUI as soon as i got the phone so I'm not sure if this is a new issue or not. I also searched the settings of my phone and within the app but found nothing relevant. | Posted: 19 Sep 2021 01:26 AM PDT Maybe some of you already saw that but I found on a website yesterday a tip to recover the blue effect on the control center. For this, you have to : • download the app "SetEdit" from the Playstore • once this done, search the line "DeviceLevelList" which is aside 3 letters and numbers • you have to change it into « v:1,c:3,g:3 » • save the changes and then reboot you phone. The Gaussian blur effect should be back. I've did it on my Redmi Note 8T yesterday and it has worked incredibly well, without taking the risk to do a rollback or something else. Great for the fancy animations but I can't use gesture navigation with Lawnchair launcher (known issue), finally hearing notification sounds but I don't see notifications in the notification bar... Seeing icon showing that no printer is connected even though print services are disabled. I think it's time for me to take my own advice and like I told many others in the past.... Factory reset. Although in December this phone will be how old? Might be time to move on to a 5G device... /Rant Edit: I'm using a much loved Mi 9T. [link] [comments]  |
