If I am using my laptop for the equivalent of 2 charges (considering I also spend like 2hours charging it from 20% to 100%) which is best? A) Use it normally while battery goes down from 100% to 20%, then plug it in, then once battery goes to 100% I unplug it, then use it all the way to 20% and plug it in again. B) Same, but this time after I plug it in and the battery reaches 100% I just keep it plugged for the remaining of the day so I don't use an additional battery cycle. At the cost of the heat it will produce being plugged for like 4 or 5 hours. I am only doing light tasks (web browsing in Edge, watching videos in VLC, listening Music in Groove) so I don't need any extra "power" I may get by being plugged. And yes I know for long term it would be better to only plug until 80% but I'd rather use full cycles. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Help! Lenovo legion 5 vs lenovo ideapad 5.. Posted: 01 Sep 2021 06:53 AM PDT I've been wanting a good laptop for a while now, for casual gaming, 3D modeling, graphics design, coding and more. I've narrowed it down to 2 options: The lenovo legion 5 with ryzen 5, 8GB ram, 258GB storage and the lenovo ideapad 5 with ryzen 7, 16GB of ram, 512GB storage. So now the question remains, what would be better overall, the slim looking ideapad or the legion with possible future ram and ssd upgrades. I also looked at the lenovo gaming 3, but it just seems like a worse version of the legion. Please help me choose one! :)) [link] [comments]  | ||

The processor (i7-1065G7) speed is 1.3GHz, (max turbo speed up to 3.9) and the website for Autodesk states a minimum requirement of 2GHz.
