    hi guys, thinking abt buying this laptop for school and light gaming like valorant, fits my price range and the specs seem to tend to my needs. only downside is the online review stated the sRGB is 51% and i’ve been using a laptop with 63% so idt it’d affect me too much, what are your opinions?

    Considering getting the new XPS 17 for someone as a gift, but the quality control issues are pulling away my interest. Typically the most vocal will be the ones who had a bad experience, but even YouTube reviewers are getting bad units.

    Should I bother getting this? From what I understand, the other best option for a 16"-17" laptop is the MacBook Pro. Any others? Feel free to share your experiences, especially if you have the new XPS lineup

    Im a graphic design student looking for a laptop that works well with photo and video editing, I considered getting the m1 Macbook pro but i can only afford the base model (8gb and 256gb ssd ) so should i get this or the m1 ? If there is better laptops for that price range (1200~) let me know

    Hi guys! I'm looking for recommendations for a good laptop for a future UX Designer. I'm starting a design course in September and I'm willing to spend €1000 - €1200 to get a good laptop I can have well beyond college and into my future career. I'm thinking a MacBook at the moment but would love to hear other suggestions as I don't know much about laptops. Thanks!

    My girlfriend got a scholarship for new laptop, she is in need of a new one because her current one is not in the best condition. She wants an SSD, dedicated graphics, 16gb + of ram, she wants to be able to run games and have smooth graphics, long battery life (8hrs +) and lots of ports if possible, the scholarship covers 1000 dollars and it has to be off Amazon

    What are your suggestions?

    Dell XPS 9500 VS 9510

    I'm currently looking for a new device to replace my 12 years old Latitude.

    I'm looking for XPS 15 for both reason :

    -Nice looking device -Decent performance (I want base model) -Fully upgradable (RAM, storage, battery etc)

    But I'm still hesitate between the 9500 and 9510.

    Currently the 9500 is at 1079 euros and 9510 at 1147 euros. (With 15% cash back)

    I've never seen a laptop like this.

    I'm not sure if that raised portion is a big touch/graphics pad or if it's supposed to aid cooling.

    Hello, I was wondering if a radeon vega 8 graphics card is good enough for 3d modelling in programs like solidworks?

    I was adviced to get a more poweful graphics card and not the ones that are already integrated on the motherboard, but as far as I know laptops already have a graphics card integrated, and I googled and in most cases is not possible to upgrade a laptops graphics card. As you can see Im a bit lost on the topic and just want to make the best purchase for me.

    The laptop has 16 gb of ram and a ryzen 5 if its relevant, thanks in advance

    I know nothing about hardware but in all the teardown vids ive seen the pipes were connected to the fan. My laptop (ASUS vivobook 15 x512da) has shit performance. Throttles all the time at low temps (around 70 C). Will repasting help?

    Theres also these scratches that i dont think shouldve been there

    Is 4k screen useless if you dont enable 4k resolution?

    I've had a 4k screen laptop and I never enabled 4k resolution, because many websites don't look good in that resolution, and my laptop tends to overheat more. So do I not get any benefits from a 4k screen?

    I need a new laptop and I'm thinking of skipping the 4k screen next time. But I'm a web developer and designer who uses Adobe programs.
