The only thing that is a must have for me is a 3.5mm headphone jack. Other than that, money is no issue although not looking to get something expensive just because obviously. Battery life is also important to me and something that annoyed me on my previous Samsung phones. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]  |

| Problem with selecting/inserting images/files/videos - Android 11 Posted: 01 Aug 2021 10:18 PM PDT Ok, the problem i have is really weird. I have recently switched to a new phone, and installed the apps which i always use on the older phone, i create stuffs with photo editors, i.e. adding text to them. I first encountered this problem on a photo editing app ("PixelLab") and i thought this was just that app, and installed "PicsArt" and surprisingly i did not encounter that problem. Because PicsArt has its own image selector but it's not really user friendly and sometimes you do have to use the "Files" app where you browse and select images. And i encountered the exact same problem with PicsArt too. But this does not happen on Discord for some reason it works fine there, but on reddit if you select via the reddit image selector it's fine, but if you select by the "Files" app it does not work. By "does not work" i mean, it does redirects to the app as it should, but it does not insert images to the app as it should. that's the problem. It just redirects to the app with selecting nothing. And i thought this was just the Files app, but i have tested Gallery and third party gallery apps but the result is same, not working. Even this happens with chrome, I use ilovepdf website to convert jpgs to a pdf file and on that website the Files app works fine, meanwhile on a website where i convert mp4 to gif it does not work, it works on some websites, it does not on some. Same on apps, it does work on some, it does not on most. Please help. [link] [comments]  |

| My phone reboots and battery drains quickly when it is below 20% after android 11 update Posted: 01 Aug 2021 09:35 PM PDT I updated my phone last week after that day I used cloudfare I didn't notice the battery and sudden of a all 15% battery notification pops up I was like what the hell and I thought it's just one time and next day it started rebooting and the charge drains quickly whether I'm using an app or not(maybe). I just want to know am I hacked lol but if not how to find which app drains the battery so fast btwl checked the batter usage and the details are reset and shows no data available or something like that(am I hacked!) My mother has had the app T-Mobile family mode, obviously made by tmobile, that allows here to set up a VPN connection so she can monitor my shit, it's the biggest scam in the 21st century. Except, it's good at being super annoying. Every time you disconnect from the VPN, the app physically opens up by itself, and forces you to reconnect unless you close the app, but everytime you close you, it keeps opening back up. I have done everything i can to prevent this, I have optimized the app, not allow it to use background data. No luck. Can y'all help me please, I'm desperate. I used to listen to all my music on my iPod, but that long since broke and the newer models don't have nearly the capacity I want. I've got a huge library of MP3 files and I'd like to organize them into playlists on my PC and then sync that to my phone. I don't really want to dump my entire library on there and then organize it on my phone's tiny screen. I've seen some PC programs with associated apps, but they all look like they're shady trojan malware programs... Does anyone have any recommendations? [link] [comments]  |

| Question About Backing Up Contacts To PC - Samsung A32 5G Posted: 01 Aug 2021 05:34 PM PDT My family member has a Samsung A32 5G. They wanted me to back up the phone and reset it. I'm not familiar with phone operating systems so I plugged the phone into my computer and literally copy and pasted every single file from the phone into a folder. I then reset their phone. After resetting the phone, the family member had to leave abruptly and said I could transfer the information back in a day or 2 when they return. I just recalled that 5 or so years ago, I did the same thing and everything was transferred over except the contacts. My family members contacts were saved to the phone storage and not an SD or SIM card. My question is: Did copying all the phones files onto my computer also save the contacts? Or am I screwed? I'm afraid I just permanently erased over 900 of my family members contacts. [link] [comments]  |

I am traveling to the United States (Illinois) in a week, and I need to make sure my phone is compatible with the AT&T infrastructure in order to have data there. In the kimovil.com website it states my model (SM-N960F) is compatible with 2 out of 2 3G bands, but just 6 out of 9 4G bands.
