Posted: 11 Jul 2021 02:10 AM PDT Will be changing phone in the next year, previous One, 3T and 7 Pro owner so been with OnePlus for about 7 years. I've been reading up about the recent moves in OnePlus and not so sure about sticking around for my next phone, anybody else in the same boat or are there reasons to stay that I'm missing? Anyone know if OnePlus is going to release the car warp charger again? Any alternatives? Posted: 11 Jul 2021 07:12 PM PDT Feel like it's been a year and it's never went back to being in stock. [link] [comments]

[OnePlus 7 Pro] How do you check what else is draining the battery besides apps? Posted: 11 Jul 2021 05:47 PM PDT When I look at Detailed Battery Usage in the settings, the page gives a list of each app and how much battery percentage they've used since full charge, but the percentages don't add up to the amount used, even if they're all rounded up a whole percent. Here's a screenshot: I know there are other things that drain battery, such as searching for cellular service. Is there a way to investigate the total usage? My OnePlus 7 Pro isn't even that old and it feels like it recently took a significant battery life hit. Answers are appreciated. [link] [comments]

Posted: 11 Jul 2021 01:56 PM PDT My new OnePlus 9 isn't using full bandwidth. My old phone, which I keep around as a back up, is getting full 100mbps on speed tests. Oneplus only gets like 600kbs, but sometimes goes higher. Not often. No other device has this issue. It's not my net. Has anyone else has this issues? This is my second ever smart phone and I'm already regretting it tbh. First one was a mid range Nokia and it lasted me for years. Stock android was fantastic. Seem to have nothing but issues with this phone, but I'm past the 15 day refund limit. [link] [comments]
Importance of Custom ROM support Posted: 11 Jul 2021 09:25 AM PDT How important is for you all to have a phone with an easily unlockable bootloader and decent custom ROM support in case of dissatisfaction with the stock OEM OS? Edit: grammar [link] [comments]
Is oneplus 8T worth it in 2021 for $400? Posted: 11 Jul 2021 12:40 PM PDT My last oneplus phone was the oneplus 5 and I've been away from the android/oneplus scene for a few years since I got that phone. Coming back I see that oneplus is still decent with their price to performance ratio but I've sporadically heard bad things about the brand like the OOS changes, privacy issues and also the ever abysmal customer support. I now have a chance to buy the 8T for $400, is it still worth it or are there better phones out there? [link] [comments]
OnePlus 5 battery dies as soon as it gets around 15% Posted: 11 Jul 2021 09:27 PM PDT I've had my OnePlus 5 since 2017 and throughout that time I've had it rooted and on various custom ROMs, but for a while now I've sworn that off and have put it completely back to stock. Ever since a while ago (while I was still on lineage os) I've noticed that as soon as my battery gets to around the 15% mark, it will die and then continue to do so even after I boot it up again. The battery will also go down in large jumps. Is it maybe an issue regarding my battery calibration and that my phone thinks it's at a certain percent when it's actually lower? If so, is there a way to calibrate it? [link] [comments]
Anyone here done their own screen replacement on the 7 Pro? Posted: 11 Jul 2021 12:38 PM PDT Broke the screen on mine (lower ~1/5) and have a used lesser model (128/6 vs my 256/8) coming as a replacement. My plan is to wait for the official specs of the Pixel 6 to be released and then see what may be on the near-ish horizon from anyone else. Assuming I get a Pixel 6 or something else newer, I'm considering the possibility of grafting the 128/6 screen onto my 256/8. Local repair places want more than a used 256/8 would be just to do it, and while OnePlus lists screen repair a lot cheaper, I'm not sure I want to go that route. I'm curious to know how difficult it was for those who have done it, and whether you feel it was worth it or not. [link] [comments]
HELP Did OnePLus have a Glitch? Posted: 11 Jul 2021 07:38 AM PDT I can no longer access my OnePlus 7t Pro after a restart because for some reason My pin is wrong? My PIN is just my Birthday, I also know for a fact that I didn't change my Pin and I also have a shared notes app which has my phone pin. Yet it still says it's wrong. Find My Device is already set up in my phone so I tried to erase the data and start new again but for some reason it can't find my phone? Even though it's right beside me. The Phone's is connected through Wifi but location is off and I can't turn it on because it asks for a pin. Is there no other way??? [link] [comments]

Posted: 11 Jul 2021 04:14 PM PDT Hi, so my old OP6 is still kicking, i was considering upgrading to another phone soonish but with all the talks i have read in this reddit, i ll hold it for a while more (plus i dont want to spend 800 euros on a phone lol), so i am looking to replace my old case, the one that originally came with the phone, for a new one. Since it worked so great, i want to get a new copy of the old one, im okay with it being transparent and even though the phone dropped a few times, and the glass protection cracked, its still kicking and alive, so anyone knows where i cant get a another of this cases, or what the material so i can try to find it on the web? Many thanks [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Jul 2021 07:03 PM PDT I just got the OnePlus 7t and noticed that the vibration was incredibly weak, even though I set it to strong in the settings.I thought it was broken so I looked it up and found a couple of threads with people who also found the vibration weak, but also a couple of people in them saying it was good. Does the OnePlus 7t just have really weak vibrations or should I get it checked out? Also if anyone knows a way to make it stronger that would be awesome. [link] [comments]
Should I change the battery on my OP 7? Posted: 11 Jul 2021 10:36 AM PDT Oxygen 11 is shit on the the 7 series and all, but I'm also a heavy duty user. I miss the days when I didn't have to close my data or turn off battery saving mode to make it through the day without charging. Is it worth the hustle to send it for battery charge? Or should I prioritize on rolling back to OOS 10 first? Ideally I would love to avoid the hard wipe. [link] [comments]
OnePlus Messages fails to update from Google Play, why? Does it matter anyway? Posted: 11 Jul 2021 10:56 AM PDT This is how Google Play looks like. Translated, it literally says that "OnePlus Messages couldn't be updated" and gives a general link to a Google support page. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Jul 2021 03:32 AM PDT Is anyone else still on the final beta on OnePlus 7 Pro? And what bugs are you experiencing? Mine seems to be pretty stable, except from one specific bug which results in my sound not working after I connect my bluetooth headphones. And I use them a lot so basically my speaker on my phone never works, even if I turn bluetooth off. Does anyone know of a way to fix this without losing my data and changing back to 'stable' release? Thanks Edit: after messing around with Bluetooth developer options I think the issue was down to Bluetooth AVRCP and MAP version. When these are set to default I had no issue. Hopefully this helps someone else. [link] [comments]
Did Android Auto stop working for anyone else (6t) Posted: 10 Jul 2021 10:24 PM PDT I'm thinking it was one of the classic updates that fixes something but breaks another as usual. Over the last month I haven't been able to keep my phone connected to my Android auto. Never had a problem up until an update. Now it'll run the GPS for a random amount of time and just disconnect saying it can't read the USB. I've used the same high quality cables and tried others, same issue. Unplugging it and plugging it back in starts it back up but in another few minutes or just disconnects again [link] [comments]
Terrible battery drin on standby OP7TPRO Posted: 11 Jul 2021 07:02 AM PDT Hey there. So, I am having crazy drain on my OP7TPRO (I just got it under a year ago), it drains around 30% battery during the night (around 8 hours), I factory reset the phone, didn't help, than I installed LineageOS and the problem persists. I have traded apps, sorted through battery optimization and nothing seems to work. Is it a faulty battery that needs to be replaced? Any help would be greatly appreciated :) [link] [comments]
Oneplus 7 pro has issues turning on Posted: 11 Jul 2021 10:18 AM PDT My phone works totally fine untill I turn it off, but once I do I can't turn it on in anyway accept force restart every time. I've wiped data & cache, and that didn't do anything. Any ideas? [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Jul 2021 06:15 AM PDT I'm searching for a feature that you can lock an app on foreground and cannot go back of to home untill input pin or biometrics. For ex: you wanna borrow your phone to a friend to watch some pics i took in Gallery but applock the Gallery app that he cannot wonder thru the phone I dunno if its Oneplus specific but i've seen it on OP first, i just cant remember its name and how to enable it. Posted: 11 Jul 2021 06:52 AM PDT I forgot the graphical password on my phone but i can still use fingerprint to get into it, but i want to change my password so that i dont get locked out permanently. wtf do i do? [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Jul 2021 03:43 AM PDT I have a new OP 8 pro and using the new cable that comes with my phone. It says warp charging on my home screen but in brackets says (1 hour 40) remaining. My old OnePlus was better than this! Anyone else having this problem? I've turned off optimised charging and everything. Very annoying [link] [comments]
