| All computer hardware stays on after power off from OS and Bios Posted: 19 Jul 2021 06:11 AM PDT To start off this is the hardware CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: Geforce GTX 1660 6GB Motherboard: ASRock A320M-ac Power Supply: Thermaltake 500W This computer came in yesterday with a sleep issue, the desktop would not boot into the OS from sleep mode. Along with it not booting into the OS after it goes to sleep, all of the Hardware stays on when the desktop is powered off through the OS. It will turn off If we power the desktop down from the front panel power button. I have tried numerous different things such ass Reloading the OS Changing the Fast Boot from power settings in Control panel, along with that Changing what the power button does and the Reset button does and still nothing. Ran SFC it found nothing wrong with the OS, Ran it in Gandof and it would not shut off completely through the OS. I checked to see if the BIOS had Onboard LED in S5 It was an option but it was already disabled. I checked to make sure all drivers were up to date. Unplugging any SATA connection and shut down through a USB Gandof and it would still stay powered on after shutting down through the OS. I am simply looking to get the desktop to power down through the OS, when I say power down I mean all hardware shutting down, fans, led strips, and the GPU. [link] [comments]  | ||

I dont know what to do now since manually troubleshooting using a system restore gives me an error message.even through the startup settings I cant open it up through safe mode. I also tried resetting the pc which doesnt work as well. Does anyone have a solution? Hopefully one that doesnt involve me going out for repairs, since literally none of them are open with whats going on. [link] [comments]  | ||
