For example you'll switch from portrait mode to landscape but your phone will have this slight pause where it shows this windmill like animation. Is there a way to completely disable that and for the phone to just change orientation without that pause and animation? [link] [comments]  |
| SDcards/OTG storage was working... now its not. Posted: 17 Jul 2021 08:49 PM PDT I was messing with many root apps and terminal comands (creating partitions etc) and somehow got in state that google photos was able to see photos saved at my otg drive (folders with that photos had sd card icon) or app like swiftbackup was able to store backup files at sdcard unfortunately i was forced to reflash my rom and i cant get it to work again.... Google photos cant see photos stored at that usb drive and swift backup can see that usb but its greyed out (file browsers work the same way like the worked before) I remember the previous "detectable" drive had folders like "android, dcim etc. these folders recreated them self after deleting" (the folders that ussualy are on internal storage... but the drive storage and internal storage wasnt combined.) I have miui rom based on android 11 (that may be the problem.... but it worked before on the very same rom) EDIT: i also remember i was able to play music from sdcard... I mean i find music and clicked on "open in.... some music player" and that music player was able to play whole folder (even save that folder for later) Now it usually dont play it or play just one song (ofc im talking about music players without sdcard access api like the one that file browsers have) [link] [comments]  |

I keep getting stuck on "sending boot (40384kb) Ive downloaded all the stuff I need, the img and the installer and magisk, I have just not been able to get this done. I have Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 and I want to mirror what I see on the phone screen to an HDMI monitor. I don't need fancy features like Dex has, I just want it to act how monitors act on PCs. Uncle Google says "connect eveything and viola" but somehow the screen is still black. Already tried the developer method, I enabled the USB setting. Should I use an app? | Posted: 17 Jul 2021 07:03 PM PDT So sometime in the last week or two, the predictive text has suddenly stopped working. Checked the keyboard settings and it seems to be turned on. Was in application management on my Oppo phone and found an application running called "FrozenKeyboard". Clear cache, clear data, and disable are unselectable within its app info but force stop is selectable. Is this malware and/or the cause of why my predictive text isn't working? Please help Posted: 17 Jul 2021 06:50 PM PDT My boyfriend just got me a new phone and for some reason after the smart switch transfer I can't recieve messages from him, we cleared the cache and data on the messaging apps and in settings. I think it is either something with the contact itself or an app. I can send him messages and he receives them but I don't recieve his at all. NOTE: when the transfer came through, it seemed like his contact somehow turned into an international # EXAMPLE: +89000000100100 Tried to delete the contact, tried to re add. And some aren't like that. Example Galaxy A21s. A21s still has One UI Core with Android 11. What is the reason for this? Why do some devices get One UI replacing One UI core version, and some do not? I missed the announcement of (or forgot about) Assistant's ambient mode a couple years ago but that sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. Daily board on the Samsung tablets might also be similar. However, neither of these options are available on my phone. I've got always on display enabled but it's lacking for what I wanted to use it for. I'm having trouble searching for an alternative because the Samsung TV ambient mode keeps coming up in searches. Does anyone here know of an alternative? I'd prefer to avoid rooting but it's something I'm reasonably familiar with and willing to consider. [link] [comments]  |

I want to connect my phone (Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite) to 2 different devices at the same time. One should be for managing calls in the car (I have an integrated system in the car for that) and one connection should be with some kind of Bluetooth receiver for music in the car (since I don't have a jack anymore on the phone). (And how) Posted: 17 Jul 2021 02:56 PM PDT I am now trying to play brawlhalla on my pc through the mobile internet of my phone and i am suffering like never before. Basically brawlhalla is a smash bros like fighting game in what 1 second it's a lot of time. And basically playing seeing the enemy in 6 different positions in less than a half of a second don't knowing if what i'm doing it's actually happening or not, in EVERY second of EVERY match is a biiiiiiit hard. (I'm not even exaggerating a bit, it is almost unplayable) I need someway to make my phone give the most priority to the mobile hotspot and after it download and load all the rest of data. | Samsung S21 audio not working through USB-C port Posted: 17 Jul 2021 02:10 PM PDT I have a Logitech G Pro X wireless headset and it works perfectly with my Samsung S10 when I use a USB-A to USB-C adapter to plug the dongle on the phone. Recently, I bought a new Samsung S21 and I am super happy with it, it is an amazing phone. However, when I plug the dongle on the phone with the adapter, I cannot hear anything at all. The phone is detecting the headset, because when I tap on 'Media' it shows the 'Headset' there. But I have not been able to make the music sound. I can set the volume up and down, but no sound. I have checked online and several people seem to have similar issues. I have tried some of the fixes but nothing worked for me. Any ideas of what could be causing this problem? | how can i disable firefox custom tabs? Posted: 17 Jul 2021 10:22 AM PDT I really hate custom tabs, and I want to disable them. Newer versions of firefox don't have an option to disable them within the app. I've disabled custom tabs within every single app that has the option to (insta, twitter, gmail, etc), but some, such as the version of reddit that i use, don't offer that option. Is there a way to just disable them entirely, maybe using usb debugging or something, or will I have to switch to an older version of firefox that enables me to?
