- Planning to buy 8 pro now
- Anyone else not getting the prompt on the bottom of the screen when you use "ok Google"? Just stopped working for me. I can hear the ding right after you say it and it's listening, but there's nothing on screen. Google app is up to date I'm on the 8T 11.0.9.11.
- Before you order direct from OnePlus, check their Trustpilot. I wish I had.

- My OnePlus 7 pro can send and receive text messages, but sometimes barely be able to make calls and I can never receive calls. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I think it's an APN issue but nothing's worked for me

My already shitty day got worse when I dropped and broke my screen of my OnePlus 7 Pro. It's still useable but not great. Definitely no longer under warranty. I love this phone so I'm a bit conflicted on what to do. Should I buy a new OnePlus 7 Pro phone? Try to get it repaired (any advice on this?) Or just get a different brand new phone? | Ambient display doesn't work besides the fingerprint icon for Oneplus Nord Posted: 29 Jun 2021 02:25 AM PDT So i have this phone for almost a month now and i really like the ambient display but lately when i tap the screen once to use the ambient display nothing but the fingerprint sensor icon shows up. Even if i receive a notification or change from vibration to ring mode the ambient display still only shows the fingerprint icon. Also, after the Android 11 update it still worked properly for some time. Said this because i've seen others in this subreddit having different problems because of the android update but for me it didn't have any major issues. Some tips? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 29 Jun 2021 01:20 AM PDT I tried to connect my OP 9 pro to PC, through USB cable, but after installing drivers, I still could not see phone on my PC and phone did not react to being connected to PC (charging only), so I turned on debug mode to force file transfer, however, now cable seems to be locked in phone's USB-c port (kind of like exposition models) and I can't pull it out, how do I unlock it? But I recently switched to an N10 (BT 5.1) and they're a no go. They acknowledge the connection, but when I play music from my phone no sound comes out at all. Other Bluetooth devices work fine, although I can't verify what BT version they are. From what I've read BT 5.1 should be backward compatible. [link] [comments]  | ||

And voila, it keeps on stuttering. If I am lucky, it gets fixed after I reboot my phone. Else, unpairing and re-pairing in all combinations possible still leads to same issue. I have been experiencing this issue ever since I got the phone since March 2021 (after installing the latest updates and factory reset the phone). Anyone else experiencing this? Or someone who has been able to find a fix (even temporary) for this? I have scraped all blogs and OnePlus bug reports, none of these solutions worked for me. Apparently this issue has been present since the OnePlus 5T, and 99% certain that it's a OOS software issue. Any valuable input is appreciated. Thanks. [link] [comments]  | ||

Honestly, I don't think it is as good as the OP 8 pro but it is not much worse to my eye. I noticed that the macro shots I took came out much better than how people have experienced, even as good as the 7t as far as I know, not sure if as good as the 8 though. I am missing important phone calls because my phone does not ring. I checked "Do not disturb" mode and the schedule is to enable this during bedtime hours, but my phone is on silent all day long, outside of these hours. I am running Android 10 on Nord N10 5G.
