| Posted: 29 Jun 2021 12:56 PM PDT So, last year my beloved 3T acting up after faithfully serving for about 3 years. It doesn't dash charge, and the headphone jack is bust. I replaced it with a Poco F1. After finding it in a drawer again, I'm surprised as how thin and light it is. Like my current phone feels like a brick. The 3t feels amazing in my hand. And the display is amazing. Also love the physical navigation keys. I miss oxygen OS. Nice, bloat free, fast. [link] [comments]  |

I set it as my default gallery app. But when I am in the camera app and take a picture, then want to view that picture from within the camera app, it prompts me to set the default gallery app every time no matter if I have the google app set or not. How do you make your default gallery app stick so you don't have to set it every time you take a photo? I even disabled the stock gallery app, but it still tries to make me choose the default gallery app or Google's galleries app. [link] [comments]  |
| 8Pro seems to collect all possible scratches Posted: 29 Jun 2021 06:16 AM PDT I'm long time OnePlus and mobile phone owner and last 2-3 phones I haven't bothered to use screen protector since I don't put anything else on the same pocket/container as my phone. Last phone was S9 and it survived over a year without any kind of scratch but somehow my 8Pro is so messed up it's visible even on daily usage. Both main screen and camera glass is full of smaller and bigger scratch. Have anyone else noticed this or am I just having bad luck with this? I even don't use jeans so there isn't anything metallic like buttons that could cause this. I'm just amazed but not in good kind. Dang it! [link] [comments]  |

Was leaning between OnePlus 9 Pro, Samsung S21 Ultra or wait for Pixel 6 Pro.. I didn't want to wait for the Pixel.. And the price for the OP9P was a little lower than the Samsung. This could be when I remove it from a charger or just walking around in my pocket. Then, the only way I can power it on is by hard reset (holding all three buttons). When it powers back on, it fails to reboot and goes into bios (if that's the correct term for phones) and I have to try and fast boot or other booting option. I will have to do this several times before it boots up. What can this problem be? Has anyone else had this issue and what can be done to fix it? | Posted: 29 Jun 2021 06:03 PM PDT Been using my OP6 for a little over 3 years. It's still going pretty strong, and I even dropped it in an iceland hot spring just the other day. Water resistent as ever. But I've started to wonder how much better the newest snapdragon 888 phones are. I read the camera is really good on a OP9, but frankly I've never been disappointed in the OP6 cameras, so I'm obviously not a camera phone finatic. I got compiments on some pictures I took on a vacation, so it seems it's pretty good still. Can someone give me an example of doing something where 5G really shines? I'm starting to think a foldable dual screen style phone might be where modern smart phones sperate themselves, especially if it accelerates multitasking. | Cell signal and WiFi issues with OnePlus 7T Pro after Android 11 update: Posted: 29 Jun 2021 10:18 AM PDT Ever since I updated, my phone at the very least once a day loses cell signal completely, as if I wasn't in the country at all. The only way I found that fixes it is powering off and on. And also for some reason my WiFi gets disconnected multiple times a day just because. I have to go into WiFi settings and choose it every time. Does anyone know how I can stop these issues from happening? Edit: I already tried resetting my Network settings, didn't fix these. And I miss the calls from people checking on me, because the ringer is silent. The side switch is on Ring, the volume is zero. I move the switch up and then down again, and the volume is set properly. I swear, I'm livid right now. Just missed an important meeting for my daughter, because I was doing some chores with the phone sitting right there, expecting it to alert me. And I missed the call from the person I was meeting with. Is this behavior happening for anyone else? [link] [comments]  |

Overall, the phone still works well - decent app performance, doesn't lag, battery life still good. However, in the last couple of months Bluetooth connecting has become a problem. If I reboot the phone, devices connect in a second or two. But over a few days, it takes longer and longer and then after a few days connections stop. By longer, I mean 10-30 seconds. So I'm rebooting the phone every few days. Anyone experience this? I have no idea if this is an issue with the phone or Android. [link] [comments]  |
| Suddenly getting under 2 hours of screen usage time on oneplus 7 pro. Posted: 29 Jun 2021 02:36 PM PDT So until a few weeks ago I could constantly get 4.5 to 5 hours of screen time from my 7 pro but in the last couple of weeks the battery life has degraded substantially to the point where I'm getting under 2 hours. Hell writing this post I already went from 75% to 73%. According to the oneplus diagnosis app my battery is at 84% health so that doesn't explain the problem. (I've had it since Jan 2020) I am also on OOS 11 and wiped my cache too but no luck so far. Here is what I mean, look at my battery its at 75% in this screen shot with only 24 minutes of screen usage. The phone was literally sitting on the desk since a 100% charge 5 hours ago and I barely used it. Any ideas on what I should do? Someone had similar issues? [link] [comments]  |

It uses the "default notification sound" even for SMS Notifications and "SMS ringtone" is like non-existing It's like it thinks SMS are "an app" or something and it is so annoying, I need to know whether it's an app notification or an SMS just from the sound Can anyone help on how to fix this?
