- [DEV] My 2 friends and I started learning to make games during COVID. We still have a lot to learn but here's our first attempt at making our own game. It gave us something to focus on during isolation and we hope you enjoy it!

| Square Enix announced Trials of Mana and Echoes of Mana for mobile Posted: 29 Jun 2021 10:38 AM PDT Square Enix has announced two new games from the Trials of Mana franchise that will be hitting both Android and iOS devices. The first one is titled Trials of Mana, a 3D remake of the popular 1995 JRPG, that will be releasing on July 15th this year and the other one is a free-to-play title named Echoes of Mana and will be launching on smartphone devices sometime in 2022. Trials of Mana ($23.99 expected)Trials of Mana is a 1995 JRPG which was recently had a remake released under the same name for the PC, Playstation 4, and the Nintendo Switch. Square Enix has now confirmed that Trials of Mana would be hitting mobile devices on the 15th of July, 2021, with some minor adjustments for the platform. | Final Destiny - Beyond the End of the World, surprisingly pleasant game I'd like to recommend Posted: 29 Jun 2021 10:43 PM PDT I don't play a lot on my phone, usually I have to get hooked on something. Work, kids, adult life and so on. Just wanted to share that little game that completely sucked me in (maybe you would recommend some similar games). It's fun hack and slash pixel art game where you can visibly progress and have fun without paying money. You play as a girl warrior, who in the beginning saves a small baby from the fire and since then she fights carrying the infant. The graphics are nice, levels and enemies well designed and the game is really generous with progress it offers. Mechanics are pleasant and varied just enough for such genre game. Saw some old post about it long time ago and it's not mentioned often enough. | Any EZPZ RPG fans still out here trying to scratch that itch? Posted: 29 Jun 2021 12:07 PM PDT I am still really, really itching for a game like EZPZ RPG. I like the art style, the (relative) simplicity mixed in with a little bit of strategy. Idle progression, RPG system, NOT incremental with constant resets, only one main character (with a few unlockable allies, not a huge list of heroes you have to individually upgrade), etc... The closest I've found is this app called Blood Legend. However, this is obviously just a HUGE cash grab with about 5 different reskins on the store, all from the same Chinese company under different names. New servers literally every 3 days, planted bots to seem like there's competition to entice you to spend more, fabricated reviews on the store... This app would have HUGE potential to be my new EZPZ RPG, but it just fails due to the fact that it's literally just a cash farm... I miss EZPZ RPG so much that I have seriously considered researching whether I could take the APK and host a local version just so I can play it again, but I don't know if this is possible so I haven't even looked into it much... I just sent a message to R2 Games asking if they had any plans for the title, but I'm not holding my breath... [link] [comments]  | ||
