How to protect my phone in case it gets stolen Posted: 29 Jun 2021 12:43 PM PDT
I am really worried because my stocks and crypto is in a single device and it would be for long before I can afford another device for this. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2021 01:53 PM PDT I love Xiaomi phones but now I'm on AT&T and I learned that this carrier doesn't support wifi calling for all devices despite them having the feature. Do any of you fellow redditors know which Xiaomi phones can have supported WiFi calling under AT&T? Thank you in advance!! [link] [comments]

Poco X3 NFC no longer an acceptable device in AT&T's network Posted: 29 Jun 2021 07:37 PM PDT Attempting to activate an AT&T Prepaid account with an X3 no longer works, activation page cites network upgrades making it incompatible with the network and IMEI change on the pay-page returns a non-descriptive error and tells you to come back later. Having your SIM card in a Poco X3 NFC AT ALL is apparently enough to have your account flagged, my phone worked for around four hours and was then cut off with an automated text-message telling me my activation wasn't accepted (it had to have been to get service at all). Beware if you're using Poco phones on AT&T. [link] [comments]

Unable to get Samsung buds plus to work with 9T Pro/10T Pro. Posted: 29 Jun 2021 08:44 PM PDT Not sure why I cannot get these buds to work with both phones. Downloaded Samsung Wear and still cannot get them to sound properly. The volume is just too low and it sounds horrible no matter the settings used. When I go into the settings under special effects for some odd reason the phone won't let me choose the settings, everything is greyed out and it says it has not detected any headphones even though I'm listening to a song. Redmi Note 10 Pro Max - 27mp picture mode (Maybe?) Posted: 29 Jun 2021 04:45 PM PDT I'm well-aware of the 9-in-1 binning process of the Samsung HM2 camera sensor that happens in this phone while taking pictures. Currently, I can take pictures in either 12mp or 108mp mode, and that's it. 12mp is the mode I always use and there are times when I zoom into a picture and see a loss of details of faraway objects. I was hoping if there could be a 27mp picture mode (4-in-1 pixel binning) that could produce sharp pictures. The effective pixel size would be a decent 1.4μm-big enough to capture crisp images with decent color fidelity. [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2021 07:32 PM PDT Hello, I've been reading reviews of the Redmi Note 10S online and I've seen that there is an oversharpening problem with the phone. Like when taking videos and photos along with watching videos. Is this an issue with only this phone or do all MediaTek phones have this issue? I've been looking at reviews for other phones with MediaTek chipsets (like the Samsung Galaxy A32) and they don't mention this oversharpening at all. So is this a problem with all devices with MediaTek chipsets? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2021 03:42 PM PDT Redmi Note 9 Pro here, last night I updated to MiUI 12.0.1.0 RJZEUXM. I had Spotify installed, the update has somehow removed Spotify and I can't reinstall it. Playstore gives me a generic error and APKs say "app not installed" I've tried connecting to a PC and removing all Spotify related apps and have tried rebooting my phone but nothing works. This only happens for Spotify and no other app [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2021 07:10 PM PDT Redmi Note 9 Pro again 12.0.1.0 RJZEUXM all haptics on the phone turn off automatically at night and come back in the day. There used to be a toggle for this in settings but the update removed it, no keyboard haptics nothing Can't find a way to bring the haptics back [link] [comments]

Android 11 to Android 10 revert Posted: 29 Jun 2021 05:44 PM PDT Anyone know if it is possible to revert from Android 11 to Android 10? I use Nova Launcher and I don't have gestures anymore, so I thought I'd go back to the old version of Android. Is there any reliable tutorial? I've never done such a thing. [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2021 05:26 PM PDT I have watched countless videos and I take out the sim and remove the two bottom screws. Then everyone seems to pop the back off with ease. I have a cellphone toolkit and it's just chewing my tools trying to pry this open. The bottom separates a little but I can't get anything else to pop. Any recommendations? [link] [comments]
