| Need help to think of/identify/find a program Posted: 09 Apr 2021 01:45 PM PDT So I've got a customer that wants to set up something so that he can have people fill out preprinted NCR forms with a computer and then print to an Okidata dot-matrix printer. Simple so far, right? He's also now telling me he want's to be able to import the data into a CRM software somewhere down the line. Right now the software has not been chosen. I'm trying to think of or find or what ever a program that will let me do a few things. It feels like it has to exist and I just don't know what to ask for. On my end building a template I'd like to; Import a pdf/image file to use as a background. Specify text entry fields. Specify check boxes. On the user side I just need them to be able to fill out the fields, save data, and print onto the NCR form. The printing would have to just be the data entered on the correct spots on the page. I don't need to print the whole form again on the page. The whole thing would be perfect if I could get the data files so that they could be exported to csv at some point for the mystery CRM Software. If any one has any ideas I'm completely open to them. If the customer needs to purchase software for it, I'm fine with pointing him at it so that we can do it that way. Only thing is it's a small business so I'm hoping to avoid solutions that will cost upwards of 5k or so. [link] [comments]  |
