Posted: 29 Mar 2021 09:15 PM PDT I've ordered a Poco F3 yesterday through AliExpress app and the final price it shown me was 24400 rub (323$) and when I've clicked proceed button 50600 rub (670$) were withdrawn from my bank account. So, there is no my fault, but 1) they made me nervous 2) they made me pissed off 3) I'm about to lose some money (probably a few dozens of dollars) even if I get refund because of bank's currency conversion fees 4) I won't have those heckin money for a week or so because refund takes time 5) I won't get a new phone. Display turns on while on the phone (Mi Note 10 Lite) Posted: 30 Mar 2021 01:41 AM PDT Hey Guys, quick question. Maybe you can help me. I've bought the Mi nOTE 10 Lite and so far, I like the phone. However, one thing I've noticed is that while on the phone, the display turns on. This causes that I accidentally click hold or press random numbers on the numeric pad. Basically it's impossible to take normal calls. Is there any option I could try before sending it back? [link] [comments]

Xiaomi poco x3 sound issue in game Posted: 30 Mar 2021 01:18 AM PDT I recently bought a xiaomi poco x3, on a specific game it's doing this: http://imgur.com/gallery/iQSH62D but only on this game, why is that? My previous device which was also a xiaomi was running the game perfectly and a friend of mine who has the same phone runs the game no problem [link] [comments]

MI 11 pro should be launched globally Posted: 29 Mar 2021 10:09 PM PDT The middle child of the MI 11 series was announced last night in china but not globally. It's a beast of a phone that can compete with the oneplus 9 pro with a lesser price tag. Especially in India, were the 9 pro is 65k INR. MI 11 pro could come around 60 and would be the perfect competitor for the oneplus. Hope the product team can realize that. I request everyone to tweet about this and let the people over at xiaomi know. Let's make this happen!! [link] [comments]
Poco F3 / K40 disappointing hole in display. Alternatives? Posted: 30 Mar 2021 01:33 AM PDT Sigh. I don't understand smartphone manufacturers. The best thing about the K20 and K30 was the fact, they didn't have a stupid hole in their displays. Now Xiaomi ditched the pop-up cam again and instead are punching holes in their displays again. What are my options? Stick to K30 till it dies or switch to a different brand that still does pop-up cams? Is there any hope Xiaomi will do no-notch no-hole screen phones in the future again? I am recently getting this weird issue on my 9t pro... Posted: 30 Mar 2021 12:41 AM PDT So sometimes when I am on an app like reddit, gmail, youtube etc.. Touch response stops working for the app, but I can scroll down from the top to open the command center. Then the problem is fixed, but it's really annoying... Anyone have this issue too? I am on mi ui 12.0.4 global version. [link] [comments]

Xiaomi Mijia Quartz Watch Question Posted: 29 Mar 2021 11:29 PM PDT I'm looking into getting the Mijia Quartz hybrid watch but can't seem to confirm the following - Can it vibrate to notify an email/text or only a phone call coming through? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Top articles unfairly relating AirPower to Xiaomi's new wireless pad Posted: 29 Mar 2021 10:27 AM PDT So I think this is so unfair. I watched some of the event today and I absolutely loved the new Wireless Pad. I've then just googled it to find out more and the top three tech articles all relate it to an AirPower clone! How is it a clone if Apple couldn't get there product out in the first place? Xiaomi have one upped Apple big time and then to make it funnier, there's an iPhone in the middle of the official picture for another big middle finger to Apple (I hope). I get this is to trick the Apple fan boys into clicking but seriously. Give them credit where it's due. [link] [comments]
MIUI 12.0.7.0.QGGMIXM (Redmi Note 8 Pro) Posted: 29 Mar 2021 11:07 PM PDT So far I like this update. This is one of the very rare cases where Xiaomi actually fixed something instead of making it worse. The icon shape bug has been fixed (Some icons would be out of shape when you disable MIUI optimizations no matter what you do), the "Screen" section of Settings has been redesigned and now it's no longer buggy, the gesture lag has been reduced (I rarely see it now if any). The only problem I had was after a few hours of updating my phone suddenly froze and screen went black. But force restarting it (holding the power button for 8 seconds) fixed it and it didn't happen again yet. I just wonder if anyone has issues with this update? I like it, have you had any problems with it? [link] [comments]
