The keyboard has some important buttons that dont work at all. The webcam is not detected by the device, what is more weird is that the camera isnt appearing in device manager not even in imaging devices nor in sound and gaming stuff. Btw the laptop came with win8.1, but I liked 7 so I installed win7 and then upgraded to 10. I never tried the webcam on older windows versions, this is my first time trying the cam and it is not working. | Laptop overheating even after thermal paste Posted: 12 Feb 2021 01:31 PM PST I put thermal paste on my cpu for the first 2 hours it was working good not getting to high temps but after that it started overheating again like it used to before I applied the paste, now my laptop is kinda old but I can't really change it now is there any thing I could do? I have tried SpeedFan and other programs, but my pc doesn't allow these programs to control the fan. I have also made sure that it is set to "active" cooling in the control panel. I checked my task manager ,and it's usually a mix of random windows processes that use a lot of CPU. Most notably, Windows Defender and System. I assume this is memory related, but I dont understand how this affects me in the long run. Like, I know my phone has 16 gb of storage, so 16 on a laptop doesn't seem like much, but 32 gb or more starts edging into gaming laptops. | Help my laptop will not charge Posted: 12 Feb 2021 10:53 AM PST I have a acer aspire 3 a315-51-59ap (dont know if that is relevant) that recently has stopped charging correctly. Begin this week it would only charge when of and sometimes when on but now it wont charge whatever i do. I have looked at the battery and nothing looks wrong, my charger has a light on the block in the middle and that turns on when its powered but my laptop doesn't show a indicator that it is charing. | HDMI Won’t Detect Any Displays Posted: 12 Feb 2021 09:35 AM PST I have an MSI laptop (GL 72M 7RDX) I received as a gift almost 2 years ago. I have only been using the USB ports and never the HDMI which is located mid-left of my keyboard. Correct me if I'm wrong but I read on Google that that's most likely connected to the motherboard. Connecting monitors via the graphics card's HDMI is recommend for dual monitors, right?! I'm so confused lmao. I recently bought a monitor, and it just won't detect any display. I've tried using a different HDMI cable, still nothing. I tried using a regular monitor, still nothing. I have updated my Windows and GeForce driver so it possible that my laptop's HDMI port itself is broken? I'm going to attempt on cleaning it with an air compressor. At this point I also purchased a USB to HDMI adaptor, I'm still waiting for delivery. I'm just curious if anyone can help me out with this? My monitor is a graphic display, XP PEN Display Artist 22 (2nd Gen). Trust me the issue is not with the monitor because it worked with my switch and Surface Pro. Although my laptop has a USB C type port, it doesn't have the lighting symbol. So that feature isn't really beneficial for my laptop. Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
