Resolution issues with galaxy tab s7

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 09:28 AM PST

I've noticed many of my games and even some apps have a very poor resolution on the tab s7. I've looked online and found that is a common issue. Does Samsung plan on having some kind of resolution adjustment settings in the future or am I out of luck?

I know this has been posted a lot already, but my A70 has had the moisture in port problem since 8 hours ago, and it hasn't been fixed

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 07:27 AM PST

No, there is no water/moisture in the port. Even if there was, it would have dried off by now. No, I've examined the inside of the port, under the light, and don't believe there's anything, lint or whatever, in it. No, forcing android systems to stop only takes away the notification on the notifications bar, I'm still getting the warning everytime I plug in my charger. No, restarting my phone didn't work. And lastly, whenever I just spam the ok button until the warning leaves me and a lightning sign appears on the battery icon on the notifications bar, the phone doesn't actually charge. It just loses battery slightly slower.

So I'm wondering how I can fix this. Any tips?

Does anyone notice their wireless charging becoming slower?

I'm just wondering my quick charge stand usually charged the fold2 in 30% in 20 min but now it seems to be 8-12.

Samsung Crystal UHD Bluetooth Dongle Headset

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 09:07 AM PST

So I bought the Samsung Crystal UHD Smart Tv and a New Corsair Bluetooth headset but when I plug the Bluetooth Dongle in to the TV via USB and go to Source > Connection Guide >Audio Device > Bluetooth and wait for the Bluetooth devices list to load nothing shows up.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

EDIT: I also tried using the USB cable I have with my headset and even that doesn't work.

Is it safe to use other brand's cable to charge your phone?

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 06:28 AM PST

I got a Samsung phone and I noticed a few days ago that my charger cable is damaged. I was planning to buy one from the official store, but it seems kinda expensive. So I looked for alternatives and I found this phone accessories brand called "Baseus" which seems pretty well-known and already has over a million users and the cable seems stronger and better than Samsung's default cable. So I bought it and already used it twice.

It charges way faster than the old one, but it feels like it also drains faster? Maybe I am imagining it, but it makes me kinda worried if using another brand's cable could potentially damage your phone in the long run?

Is this brand safe? Should I continue using this brand or should I repair the old cable and use it again?

FYI: Yes I did buy the new cable from the official store.

Samsung Music App randomly unhides my hidden folder.

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 08:14 AM PST

    Anyone else have this issue?

I have a folder of Audiobooks that I hide from the music player on my phone so the files don't get mixed in with my songs. But arbitrarily the music app will unhide it and toss the files in my shuffled music.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Galaxy S20+ or A51? Upgrading from Galaxy S8

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 08:04 AM PST

My Galaxy S8 is developing burn-in that is steadily worsening. I'm trying to decide which new device to get. With AT&T I can get the A51 for nearly free, or the S20+ for $350 after trade-in. I don't particularly care about camera quality and I don't do any rigorous work on my phone. I just want it to be snappy with good battery life and fast connection speeds.

Is the S20+ worth the money over the A51 for these purposes? Would the A51 still be a noticeable upgrade for me? I was initially considering the FE instead, but the plus can be had for the same price after trade-in.

    S20+ or OnePlus 8 Pro

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 07:33 AM PST

Hi there. Im stuck between buying an S20+ or buying an OnePlus 8 Pro. I live in Turkey so we have Exynos chip here. I have the Buds+ and maybe I can buy an active 2 later , completing the trio. As you know, The OnePlus 8 Pro has the snapdragon 865 chip. Should I go for the S20+ ? Or the 8 Pro? My older brother had an S10 before (now he has an OnePlus 7 Pro) which sucked at battery life and from that day he advices me to stay away Samsung phones. Is the S20+ same or better at battery life? Btw i currently have a Mi 8 Pro which has the Snapdragon 845 chipset.

Edit: My Buds+ is the Cloud Blue one and if i go with the S20+ it will match my buds.

S20+ not charging correctly after update

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 06:22 AM PST

I just recently updated my s20+. Since the update the phone has been acting very strange. The included fast charger was not working when I'd plug in the s20. I verified the charger still worked with a different phone. When I use a 3rd party charger the phone indicates it's charging, but the battery isn't gaining any charge and is actually losing charge.

I tried placing the phone into safe mode and the stock charger worked. I took it out of safe mode and it continued to charge, but after I removed the charger it stopped again. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Samsung battery usage reading questions

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 06:09 AM PST

    1) why screen on time not reset when i fully charge my brand new s6 lite tablet? When i got it and set it up and done set it up, my screen on time is 1 hour and 25 minutes. After finishing set up the device, i recharge my tablet from 35% to 100%. After fully charge to 100%, i unplug it and use it for 2 hours and 49 minutes. My screen on time yesterday is 4 hours and 23 minutes instead 2 hours 49 minutes. It combine the first time i use it for 1 hour and 25 minutes plus the first recharge usage time 2 hours and 49 minutes. Why it does this? Why my screen on time add on top of the old one? Can someone explain?

    2) how long does it take for " learning usage pattern" to go away?
