For some reason, snapchat notifications turn on my screen. Not the ambient display, since that seems to be the only result I can find on google. It opens the actual lock screen. It's only snapchat that does it. I have already looked through all the notification settings and I can't figure out how to disable it. | Verizon OnePlus 8 5G UW - Slow WiFi? Posted: 02 Dec 2020 08:40 PM PST My OnePlus 8 5G UW seems to have a wifi bug that caps downloads speed at 60Mbps and slows uploads too. This is on a new 802.11ax network (WiFi 6). If I disconnect and reconnect WiFi, speeds return to normal for a period of time, but within an hour or so, all speeds return to no more than 60Mbps. Slack, Firefox, and Discord don't seem to pick up on the signal. But WhatsApp, Telegram, and YouTube are. Spotify is the funniest. It says that no Internet Connection is available, but when I go into a playlist to play a song, it still does. There is nothing I can find on the Internet, but I did the basic things like DNS reset, reset WiFi options, forget and reconnect, everything. But it doesn't seem to work. Weirdly, everything works fine on 4G. I don't know what it is and it's concerning. My girlfriend's 6T is working without any problems. I'd appreciate any help on this. I'd like to just be using the icon that came with the app by default, but I can't find a way to. edit: Wow. Figured it out. If you just manually uninstall the icon packs it reverts to normal. Also sometimes the top left or top right will stop working completely until I turn off the screen and turn it back on. | Posted: 02 Dec 2020 02:23 PM PST Ever since I first got my Oneplus 8 Pro a few months ago, I have been unable to open the Netflix app, which came preinstalled on my device. Whenever I open the app, it says "Please update to the latest version of Netflix app to proceed". When I go into the play store to update however, it shows me the app is already updated, and gives me a warning below the open button (This app is no longer compatible with your device. Contact the developers for more info) What I've tried to fix the issue: 1. Reinstalling the app: not possible. I cannot delete the app in fhe the play store nor from my device's settings. 2. Rebooting: does not work 3. Factory resetting the phone (complete wipe): does not work The issue persists on both OxygenOS 10 (Android 10) and OxygenOS 11 (Android 11). When checking Widevine support via an app, it shows I only have L3. However, this should still allow me to use the app normally and only limits hd content. It does not block the entire app. I did see the other post about a similar issue a few months ago, but this was about Widevine L3, not the entire netflix app refusing to work. [link] [comments]  | ||

The phone looked new and was packed in og packaging with screen guard and all accessories. I don't remember if it had the plastic seal . The back had the imei sticker. I've also spent a few days online trying to find the answer but no luck. With the Cyber Monday deals at B&M I purchased a factory unlocked oneplus 7t. I called their support and asked which model it was (ie hp1905, 1907, etc) and they told me it was not the hp1907. Turns out it is the hp1907... I don't see any T-Mobile apps on there but t mobile is the default sim. Anyway, we are moving to the UK soon and I was wondering will we have any problems there as far as 4g or 3g bands/frequencies? I noticed alot of hate from this fanbase towards OP, saying they wont buy another phone from them again. The most common reason i see is "the rebranding". Whats the deal ?
