Sunday Rant/Rage (Nov 29 2020) - Your weekly complaint thread! Posted: 29 Nov 2020 03:10 AM PST Note 1. Join our IRC, and Telegram chat-rooms! Please see our wiki for instructions. This weekly Sunday thread is for you to let off some steam and speak out about whatever complaint you might have about:
Rules 1) Please do not target any individuals or try to name/shame any individual. If you hate Google/Samsung/HTC etc. for one thing that is fine, but do not be rude to an individual app developer. 2) If you have a suggestion to solve another user's issue, please leave a comment but be sure it's constructive! We do not want any flame-wars. 3) Be respectful of other's opinions. Even if you feel that somebody is "wrong" you don't have to go out of your way to prove them wrong. Disagree politely, and move on. [link] [comments] |
Apparently new devices that ship with Android 11 will not be required to have A/B seamless updates Posted: 28 Nov 2020 07:10 PM PST device implementations SHOULD support A/B system updates. Looks like we'll have to wait until Android 12 for mandatory A/B seamless updates on android devices. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Nov 2020 08:02 PM PST I ordered the Galaxy M51 online from the USA and have now used it in Canada for a week on the Bell network. I absolutely love this phone! I would strongly recommend it. I know it is a mid range phone but effectively the A71 but a little thicker due to the massive battery live. I am getting 2 full days of heavy use on the phone so it could definitely last a long time for most people. I ran out of battery late the second day after having a few hours of video calls, casting to my TV, downloading apps and playing some call of duty. Feel free to ask any questions, I bought it on EBAY and have no issues or duties bringing it to canada. [link] [comments] |
