For those who don't know, Vanced is a modded version of youtube that is exactly the same as whatsapp but gives you premium features withwthe subscription. Vanced Manager is their new app that has made updating Vanced and MicroG very easy. Few days ago, Vanced Manager also added YTMusic as well. After trying it out, I can say it is as phenomenal as Vanced. Basically YTMusic with premium features for free. Background play and all. Do try it out of you want to give YTM a spin. Cheers! | Join alternatives other than Pushbullet Posted: 02 Oct 2020 03:40 AM PDT Morning Reddit hive mind, I'm using tasker to send / receive notifications between my phone (Note 9) and tablet (Amazon Fire 7), and then act on them as tasks. I have the play store installed on my (rooted) F7, but due to the tablet's limitations, join doesn't work properly. I'm using Pushbullet as an alternative. Are there any other apps I could try as an alternative to pushbullet? I am more interested in tasker integration, so that I can fire off a various tasks, than I am connecting with my PC. I may think about NodeRed integration in the future (which is why I gravitated to Join in the first place) [link] [comments]  |

| Which beauty/photo enhancing app would you recommen Posted: 02 Oct 2020 11:07 AM PDT I used to like Beauty Plus which I recently learned is a Chinese app and got banned alongside with wome other similar apps due privacy issues. Normally I wouldn't need it, but my camera doesn't do a good job in automatically enhancing photos. I'm waiting for new Google photos update to arrive which supports these features. Posted: 02 Oct 2020 10:43 AM PDT I have been searching for a launcher that has smooth app opening and closing animations similar to one UI 3 by Samsung or IOS but so far I have not found one. All the launchers I have tried have the same animation ( circle-like open and fade close) but I really want a launcher with smooth animations. I have tried Nova, Hyperion, POCO, CPL, Lawnchair 2, and none of them have delivered. Please tell me if you have any suggestions. [link] [comments]  |

| [REQUEST] Location history to be saved to a server and shared with my family Posted: 02 Oct 2020 10:30 AM PDT Hi, I know that the app sounds like a privacy nightmare, but I often go on night time hikes alone and am terrified of falling down a hole with no reception and my family having no idea where I am. I want an app that reliably transmits my location to a server, which can then be seen by my family. It can have a persistent notification, but it needs to continually run in the background and transmit data at least every 30 min. The idea is, in case I am lost, at least people will.know where to start looking. I would also like it to store data for my location for at least the past 30 days, so I could sort of see my travels(or in case my family forgets they have this data and only remembers it late, at least I'll get a decent funeral :p) Is there any such app out there? For the purpose of keeping records of what cases I worked on, as well as for the purpose of following up with my cases and learning about their outcome. | Gallery/Media viewer app, with delete without confirmation option. Posted: 02 Oct 2020 09:29 AM PDT I currently use Simple Gallery Pro, and it works great, however it has one big flaw. So I occasionally browse my media folders like whatsapp, and I go through each file and delete as I view. Simple Gallery works fine, i can open the folder via Solid Explorer and then click on a file and open with Simple Gallery, then swipe and keep deleting the ones I don't need and I can disable delete confirmation dialog. However Simple Gallary fails to browse all the files in the folder, no matter where I start. So I have to keep checking and deleting each file individually. Any other free alternatives? One and o ly difference being that in a group chat, along with the name of the members, their pictures also come beside every message. Any way to disable that and have just the names? | Symptom, allergy, weight, sleep and vaccination health tracker Posted: 02 Oct 2020 08:22 AM PDT Currently, I use an Excel spreadsheet to track symptoms as they happen. For example, if I experience vertigo, I record the date when that happens. If my sleep is disturbed, I record that. On a separate sheet, I write down reactions to medicines including no reaction. On a separate sheet, I record when I was vaccinated for various diseases. If a new vaccine comes out and I get it, then I would record that. On a separate tab, I record the significant health concerns of my ancestors, descendants and siblings. The point is have the information to show if a particular disease runs in the family so if it signs of it show up in me, then I can tell the doctor. Is there an Android app that can do the above? Can you suggest some apps that do this? It would be great if I could also access a website that has the data there too. It would be great if I could share the data with my doctors.
