Looking for a particular timer app

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 03:53 AM PDT

    Hi all,

I'm looking for an interval timer app that allows you to set a picture for a particular interval.
To give you an idea, I would like to use it for stretching/yoga, so I'd want to set a picture for the stretch I'm doing, then it would switch to a different picture/interval, and so on. There are stretching apps that let you create custom routines, but this way I'd be able to add stretches that are not on there too.

Is there an app for this? The only one I found is Timewinder but it's been discontinued for years

    Thank you :)

[DEV] I made an app to translate texts in Portuguese to Libras (Brazilian Sign Language) using the Google ML Kit to recognize the texts

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 05:47 PM PDT

Hello everyone. I just made an app to translate Brazilian Portuguese texts into Libras (Brazilian Sign Language). The app is using the Google ML Kit to recognize texts with the device's camera and the VLibras API to translate and generate the video with signs in Libras.

Looking for a specific trigger/action with automateit app or any other recommended app to turn my ringer/notification volume back up after muting it for the daily toilet ritual at work.

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 10:46 AM PDT

So i seem to have this problem at work when i decide its time to take the browns to the superbowl, I mute the volume of everything on my phone (Galaxy S10). For the life of me, i cant seem to ever remember to turn my volume back up once im done and ill go all day without remembering until i miss a call or text.

I've played with the free version of automateit app but i cant seem to figure out how i can make a trigger like this work. Do i need the pro version to access more rules thatll work for me? My ideal action with this is to turn my ringer and notification sound back to max volume after say 15 minutes after muting it.

    Any suggestions helpful!

    Cheers!

Edit: Exactly my issue... As soon as i read and responded to my first comment, it reminded me to turn my volume back up. 😭😭

PS. This post was actually written on the toilet during work hours. 😜

Is there a app that allows you to allocate Ram for a game?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 05:26 AM PDT

Forgot to add that the game crashes and when i checked my memory used tab,it said that the app used almost 100mb of RAM.So I think the crash problem is from RAM memory.

Swift Installer - Android 11 compatible?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 09:55 AM PDT

Hey guys, I recently updated to Android 11 on my Pixel 3XL and I don't know if Swift Installer works with Android 11. The app description doesn't really mentions anything about Android 11, but I guess because the finale release is fairly recent.

Do you guys know if it is compatible? Can I use the app to only theme the apps and not the system UI?

    Thanks in advance

    App to change notification volume?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 09:02 AM PDT

It's really annoying that both notification and ring volume is controlled by the same slider. Hence I can't change notification volume. It is so loud that I freak out when I hear it. But if I reduce the volume I won't hear any incoming calls. Any app to fix this?

    Personal Finance app for couple

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 12:30 PM PDT

Hi. I use Monefy Pro for 2 or 3 years and I love the app.

However, now I want to begin to track the expenses together with my girlfriend, and Monefy doesn't support a shared account.

    What do you recommend?

    What I want:

    • Nice UI
    • Free app, or a paid version with a 1 time payment like Monefy Pro (I don´t want to pay monthly/yearly for the app)
    • If possible, I would like to have the possibility to export the data to xlsx/csv

I found Honeydue and it seems very good, however it's not compatible with my phone, I don´t know why. Or possibly is because I'm not from the US, I don´t know.

    Thank you!

Current methods of adblocks on YouTube app?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 12:41 PM PDT

Is there an adblocker on Android that can block ads within the YouTube app?

I know of apps where you can use them for your browser to then go on an adless YouTube, but is there an app without the middle man?

Looking for contact lens users to help out with modern and clean tracker app (suggestions, opinions etc.)

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 10:43 AM PDT

    Hello,

Being a contact lens user myself, I'm surprised by the lack of any proper tracker app with a modern UI. And so, I took it upon myself to produce an app. I'm completely new to programming but am ready to dedicate my time to this project.

Why do I need you? As I mentioned, I'm completely new to programming and UI design. But no worries if you are not from a programming background, your opinions and suggestions for UI and features are completely welcome, you can also try out the alpha versions. I'll be using Google's Flutter language to develop the app for both iOS and Android. The project is at its infancy stage right now- I'm taking up online crash courses and have prepared a few UI/UX proofs-of-concepts I'd like to share with you guys.

You in? PM me and comment below and I'll PM you the link to a dedicated Discord server set up by me.

Looking for a app to create a Idea Board

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 09:31 AM PDT

So, I'm looking at doing some decorating and I wanted to compile together a mood-board, and maybe brain-storm ideas for furniture, colours, wallpapers, flooring etc.

Is there an app (preferably for tablet, Tab S6) that I can use to do this effectively? Or if not, is there any ideas for an alternative?

    Thanks in advance! 😀👍🏼

Disable sound and vibrate for one contact only

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 05:00 AM PDT

Disable (sound + vibrate) for one specific contact only : I usually have all incoming calls on vibrate by defining the calling sound volume to 0.

I also have one contact where I store all "spam" calls. I've defined the ring tone to "none" for this one. But still, when calling, the phone vibrates (as I think that whatever ring tone I choose for this contact, anyway, as I'm on vibrate mode in general, the ring tone is ignored and so the phone vibrates...)

I would like a wait to have this particular contact always on silent (no vibrate, no sound), while being able to stay in vibrate mode in general (better for the office).

I there a way to do this ? I don't want to activate the "do not disturb" mode as I still want the phone to vibrate for other contacts. What would be best is to be able to define a "non vibrate" choice only for this contact, or is there some app who can do this ?

    I've a Pixel 3 and I'm now on Android 11.

An ebook reader with autoscroll that adjusts the scroll speed based on the length of the lines? Bonus if it can show remaining time in book

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 04:15 AM PDT

Moon+ has a decent autoscroll feature, but it does neither of said things; scroll speed is maintained whether it's a sequence of very short or very long lines.

And while it does have a prediction of time left in book and words per minute estimate, it seems to include time spend in idle or accidentally flipping pages. I just want WPM/time left at current speed.

The app I built is done, how to get it on google play and run ads and add a gdpr policy?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 06:22 AM PDT

So basically I am a student and I finished creating my app. I want to put it on Google Play. Do I need a business to make money from google ads? Or I can get them directly in my personal account? And what do I do with the GDPR policy? I wrote it, but I just have to attach it to the app and that is all? Or I need a business connected with that GDPR? or it just has to appear there. Thanks!

Is there a reader app that can save annotation in epub files, not a database?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 06:13 AM PDT

Hi. Is there a screen filter app that doesn't affect black?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 02:23 PM PDT

I have a little pinkish colour of my amoled and I think the filter app will solve my problem. But there's a catch : every app i checked applies a filter to an entire screen, even my amoledish black that brightens to the filtered color. Is there any way to affect only pixels turned on with strength of their intensity, like a mask filter?
