Posted: 29 Sep 2020 09:55 PM PDT Yo guys, so i have a gaming headset which has separate wires for mic and audio, but my Samsung S10+ has only one 3.5 mm jack. So i bought a ripoff audio splitter near my house(i did not expect it to work btw) and plugged in my headphones. The audio was exceptionally good for a 2$ splitter, but the only problem was the left and right audio channela were swapped. I looked online for a solution but everyone suggested to physically swap the left and right speakers but i could void my warranty by doing that. I searched in the settings to do something but i couldn't find anything BUT SAMSUNG COMES IN TO SAVE THE DAY I found this app called Samsung Sound assistant(by Samsung) and it works LIKE A CHARM like literally dude no other phone has so much flexibility as this.............. People suggested me to root my phone, but Samsung got my back boi, the features are more than what you can get out of a rooted phone(dont take this literally ok) Damn i never post anything on reddit but this feels like Samsung should get much more appreciation for all the background work they do...... (and my phone has gone through a lot of android updates and still gives the same performance, unlike other phone companies who bring out updates to make the older phones slower so that people could buy the newer expensive ones) [link] [comments]

Samsung S20 - Terrible Reception Posted: 30 Sep 2020 07:02 AM PDT I have been a Samsung enthusiast for years and last week I got my 4th Galaxy S-series with the S20, an upgrade from the S10 which I loved. I did it both for myself and my wife as both our S10s had smashed screens and it was time to move on. What transpired almost instantly once we changed SIMs is that the new Galaxy S20 has TERRIBLE reception, both on WiFi and mobile signal. You can see it immediately in the house, where weak signal areas with the S10 have zero signal with the S20, but we have also found ourselves in the street with absolutely no signal at all, in central London. Both phones are behaving exactly the same so it can't just be a bad device. What do people think about this? Any advice? To be honest it is so poor I need a reason to not return the phone and end my Samsung relationship. [link] [comments]

Do Samsung Smart Tvs Support Low Latency Bluetooth? Posted: 30 Sep 2020 05:25 AM PDT I have been searching all over the internet but I cannot seem to find any answers on this. I want to get a Bluetooth headset or pair of earbuds with the primary purpose of being able to play games on the TV after my kids go to sleep. I have a couple of different systems plugged into the TV, so I want to be able to just directly connect the headphones/earbuds to the TV using Bluetooth. After spending hours trying to find affordable headphones that don't have audio latency, I settled on the Avantree Aria Pros. They support Bluetooth 5.0 and AptX Low Latency, so they should work great. But now I'm wondering if my TV supports AptX Low Latency. If not, then it won't matter what headphones I get, they will all lag. Does anyone here have experience using Bluetooth headphones on their TV for gaming? My TV is the TU Series. Posted: 30 Sep 2020 05:17 AM PDT So I just updated my device to OneUI 2.5 the other day and I'm getting this random light haptic feedbacks on the phone. It normally happens when tilting at certain angles but I don't know where exactly as it is inconsistent. Sometimes it is persistent whereas it don't the other time. Normally I noticed it when the phone is standing straight and titled slighty to the left and right ways. [link] [comments]

"reprogram" one of the remote buttons of my tv? Posted: 30 Sep 2020 04:32 AM PDT Hey guys, I recently bought a new TV and it has one of those slick bluetooth remotes. The remote has 3 buttons to directly open either Netflix, Amazon Video or Rakuten TV. Is there any possible way to "reprogram" the Rakuten TV button to open the Youtube app? Any possible way for a quite normal dude with only mediocre coding experience... [link] [comments]
Apps auto-downloading on Samsung Galaxy M21 Posted: 29 Sep 2020 11:21 PM PDT Hey everyone! I recently got a Samsung M21 and I've noticed it is automatically downloading and installing apps without my permission. I've disabled the auto-update feature for both the Play Store and Galaxy Apps (which I think is the one installing these apps). I have limited data and it really irritates me to see apps that I'd never use or need being installed on my phone. It would be great if anyone could tell me how to fix this or disable the Galaxy apps altogether. Sorry if this isn't right subreddit for posting this issue. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
