Posted: 31 Aug 2020 06:31 AM PDT Today I updated my S3 neo to Android 10 with LineageOS 17.1 and one thing I've noticed is that just like previous Android 5.1 (CyanogenMod 12.1 IIRC), the pixels never really turn off no matter how black the picture is. Is it a software issue or is the hardware just not capable of doing that? I've didn't even knew what the hell OLED screen was when I had official Android 4.4 so I really can't make the comparison. Same issue as most other people, can't live without my pop socket - its WAY too convenient, and lets me use my phone entirely one-handed. But would love to buy a Xiaomi 10K powerbank which can charge my phone wirelessly while at home & plugged in + phone facing down too of course Thank you so much, appreciate all replies. Am I crazy or does the screen get noticeably brighter? It also seems to reset to normal after either turning off the phone or resetting your phone. Let me know if it worked for you.
