Birday - a totally free, open source and material birthday manager Posted: 02 Aug 2020 05:17 AM PDT I made Birday because I have 0 memory, I don't use FB that much and I missed some birthday specific features on Google Calendar. There are other apps to do almost the same things, but Birday offers more in terms of design, optimizations and quality, without useless trash. FEATURES: - Open source, the code is available on GitHub
Give it a shot, I'd really appreciate a review or a feedback. I'd also appreciate a translation or a contribution to the code! Download: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.minar.birday Source Code: https://github.com/m-i-n-a-r/birday [link] [comments] |

[DEV] Medium No Thanks - Freely read Medium articles Posted: 02 Aug 2020 06:47 AM PDT Hi guys, I've just developed Medium No Thanks, a simple open source application to bypass Medium paywall on Android. Everything you have to do is to pick Medium No Thanks from the Android sharesheet. I'm writing thi post because I have a few other features in my mind and I'd like to have some feedbacks before to work on them, feel free to comment. Github codeThe code is on github and at the moment it is dumb because the application is pretty minimal. Updates: [link] [comments] |

Posted: 02 Aug 2020 06:40 AM PDT Hello, I used to have terrible anxiety and depression so I have developed a app called Raah. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.raahteam.raahtheapp Sometimes we cannot focus on simple things and are blocked the entire day or maybe even weeks because we have something in our mind which is bothering us and we don't have the correct person to talk to without the fear of being judged. The purpose of this app is you can talk to someone and share out your frustrations, sorrows or just speak your mind. You can also listen to someone who wants to be heard and feel glad that you just gave some time and attention to someone and made them feel better.. Despite having so much social media around do you feel you can truly express yourself or connect with someone. All this happens while you remain anonymous. The app is purely text chat based no audio, video ,no image sharing, no meme's nothing. Just straight text to help conceal your identity. Note:

[DEV] Memo App for Recording Demos with Automatic Organisation Posted: 02 Aug 2020 05:52 AM PDT Hi everyone, we have created an app for musicians to be able to record their demos and ideas, and automatically organise them into projects. You can also search by project name, recording name and tags - which you can add to your recordings in order to further structure your projects. Any feedback, ideas/suggestions is very welcome, feel free to dm me on reddit. Alternatively follow us on twitter @ https://twitter.com/Demoed_App and dm us there if you wish. It's currently only available for android and can be found here - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.freshlydone.demoed [link] [comments] |

To Do apps that are offline and doesn't require sign in? Posted: 02 Aug 2020 05:49 AM PDT I'm already using D Notes but I want to separate my notes and my to-dos. Though from all I've tried, they all require sign in. Microsoft To Do require microsoft account, Google Task need google account (though to be fair it's automatic since I already have a google account), Remember the Milk need an account as well... I need something similar to D Notes to-dos, it has title, can put multiple checkboxes, but with extra features like a notification reminder or widget. And most importantly, offline. I don't need sync or backup or sharing or anything like that, just a simple todo app with a reminder function that works without any kind of signing in. [link] [comments] |

Recommendation? An App To Manage My PT Exercises Posted: 02 Aug 2020 06:51 AM PDT Does anyone know of an app that I can use to manage my 15ish exercises that I was given by my Physical Therapist? She gave me a bunch of printouts, but I'd prefer an app to manage them. Any suggestions? [link] [comments] |
Best Facebook client *not* web wrapper Posted: 02 Aug 2020 10:39 AM PDT As titled. Almost all the apps I find are just web wrappers. I'm looking for something that has more consistent performance and web wrappers are just not it. [link] [comments] |

Is there any no BS habit trackers? Posted: 02 Aug 2020 11:58 AM PDT I'm looking for a habit tracker with decent features and not some dumb gimmicky crap like habitica. Is there anything out there? What do u guys use? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Aug 2020 11:54 AM PDT So my apps randomly started crashing one by one, instagram messenger and even the calling app ( no interface when i call/receive a call ). I tried uninstalling, clearing data/cache of all apps, i even wiped cache from reboot screen. And still no fix. [link] [comments] |
Can i add emoji predictions to SwiftKey? Posted: 02 Aug 2020 11:53 AM PDT |
Posted: 02 Aug 2020 11:24 AM PDT There used to be an app that could do this, Quick Camera - Hidden Camera, but it seems to have been taken off the Play Store. Is there anything still around that can do this. I want to combine it with Tap Tap so that I can quickly take a picture without fumbling to get the camera app open. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 02 Aug 2020 01:48 AM PDT I'm trying to find a "dashcam" style recording app for Android that continuously records audio, while deleting anything too old. Does this exist? All apps I can find are basically scheduled recording apps and none have auto delete. The closest is skip silence, but you still have to choose when to start and stop. The goal is obviously that you can just record your surroundings at all times, and when something significant happens, you can immediately save it, and it's context. If it doesn't exist? Should I make it? [link] [comments] |
Podcast Addict adds a subscription model for users. Posted: 01 Aug 2020 01:04 PM PDT Podcasts Addict has now added a subscription model. Looking for thoughts on this growing trend for Devs to remain sustainable. Thoughts from users who have already paid to remove ads? The monetisation of the podcast industry continues. Posted: 02 Aug 2020 09:02 AM PDT Looking for something that I can just open and see what is slowing down my phone at certain times. Something simple. Like a task manager in Windows. Can just be monitoring. Not rooted. [link] [comments] |
