| Why does my phone keep calling my mother randomly? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 12:42 PM PDT I have a new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, the folding one. For some reason, my phone has randomly decided to call my mother for no reason and I don't know why. This happens usually when I close the phone. I was always silent when it happens, so it's not like it is listening for me to say "call mom" out loud. I checked the lock screen and there's nothing I can tap on intentionally to call her, so I fail to see how it does this accidentally and repeatedly. There's also nothing happening on the notification bar when the phone is closed. What's causing this? [link] [comments]  |

| Screen sometimes changing to a sun-bleached yellow for no apparent reason Posted: 03 Jun 2020 11:23 PM PDT The colour of my S9+'s screen sometimes turns yellow for no good reason. At first it happened after using blue light filter for a while so i did a factory reset and that fixed that, now though everytime i use any option BUT adaptive display the same piss yellow colour comes up and i'm afraid to use blf again in case i end up having to reset my phone again which is a big problem for me. | About migrating one app files to another phone without root Posted: 03 Jun 2020 10:07 PM PDT Today I was swapping some savedatas of a game and the map was not sending out through the legal method. As my new phone can´t be rooted I had to give up the map data(at least I have the user data!) but I thought , Wouldn´t it be possible to inject a terminal emulator into an apk file for being able to modify the data files? | Posted: 03 Jun 2020 09:21 PM PDT So, I just got a new phone (S20+5g), and on my old one (Note 8) I have been using an app called Chroma Notes for years, and I have TONS of notes backed up in it. I found out that it now has been pulled from Play store, so I can't sync with the server. Any idea how I can transfer all my notes over to the new device? I want to disable this popup but unable to find the setting to do it. | Posted: 03 Jun 2020 08:00 PM PDT So i just very recently found out that beta 1 for Android 11/R will not be coming out possibly for a while and i seen a feature that really caught my eye (that being the Media in quick settings) and i thought that maybe it will be in Dev options under Feature Flags but i go to it and it doesn't show ANY feature flags it just states "experimental". Now i've seen floating around that a few people have found some feature flags in Developer Preview 4 which leads me to believe that other people can see Feature Flags but i can't. I just want to be able to enable that new Media Controls in Quick Settings thing but although i've seen one or two people online actually having it enabled, i have yet to find a way to actually enable it so please can someone try and help [link] [comments]  |

I WILLINGLY downloaded Facebook a couple months ago, but my account was glitched so I deleted it. Today I decided to give it another try and redownloaded the app. Still the same, so I went to uninstall once again. Now it's telling me Facebook is a system app that cannot be removed. To clarify again, I've been downloading and uninstalling as if it was a normal app for a while. It JUST marked itself as a system app. How do I remove it??? [link] [comments]  |

When I go to a site in Chrome that request to use my location, the little pop up come up asking me to block or allow. I try clicking an option, I'll try both buttons but neither works, like it's frozen. My only option is to hit back to get back to the site from the popup. It doesn't matter which site I'm on they all do the same. I've tried fiddling with the chrome settings > advanced > site settings > location to toggle on/off as well as my device location permissions all seems to be set properly Any advice would be much appreciated! | Deleted file still visible but inaccessible. Posted: 03 Jun 2020 04:51 PM PDT Greetings, On May 27th I downloaded a file from the BigBlueButton, online presenting site. The file was named "webcams.webm" and it's sort of webinar (school class) but might be considered video file. I deleted the above mentioned file but am still able to see it in media roll in Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber etc.. Or when trying to upload something to the Google Drive. The file is there but not accessible, I can't send it, upload it or do anything with it. I cleared device's cache using several apps, I wiped the internal storage (I don't have an SD card). I tried locating the file on my PC and using RAR, I tried different File Explorers but still was unable to find anything. Last, I tried to find the file via some Recovery Software, but those seem to not be working as well. One other thing that I tried is "wiping" free space that created one large file that filled all od the free storage and then deleted it. Didn't work. I'm using K20 Pro with stock MIUI and Android 10. I am on T-Mobile (US) and am looking for a new Android in the $200ish-$250 price range. Ideally it would have NFC capability. What I've seen: Samsung A10e Samsung A20 (but it has Exnos) moto g7 power (NFC?) LG K51 LG Aristo 4+ If phones have an Exnos chip set don't they tend to have performance/overheating issues? I remember having a Galaxy S 5 which was replaced twice. All for overheating or just stopping working. It got really hot. What's my best bet? Uses: Outlook/Exchange Google Maps No gaming Chrome maybe 2-3ish other apps potentially intermittent use. Will have an external microsd card as well. Options: Available phones below $250 Thank you! | Android update broke Bluetooth Posted: 03 Jun 2020 10:47 AM PDT Last night I was prompted to restart my phone for a "critical update", android 10. I complied, but after the restart my Bluetooth headphones constantly skip and stutter no matter what I do. I restarted my phone thrice, I hard booted it, reset my headphones, unpaired and repaired them, but nothing works. Any ideas? | MMS not being sent to some contacts Posted: 03 Jun 2020 04:32 PM PDT I am having a problem with sending MMS's to some contacts. I have a google voice number as well as my main carrier number. When i MMS my google voice number with pictures, it goes through. However, when I text/mms my dad or friends, they do not seems to get my pictures. A family MMS group chat works with text only, I can get pictures from my friends, I just cannot seem to send pictures to anyone. Carrier had me rest my APN and it did not seem to work Running Android 9, using google's messenger app any other troubleshooting ideas? [link] [comments]  |
