Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 user here on MIUI Global 11.0.3|Stable....My outgoing calls seem to be not working or disabled somehow Posted: 03 Jun 2020 10:53 PM PDT Hello, so this phone was bought in January 2020, and this is an issue I'm facing for a few days where my outgoing is not working even though my carrier services have been recharged and it's not in any way expired. So I decided it must be the problem with my phone so I snooped around and found out that Under the SIM Card and Mobile Networks settings, the Default Call options at the bottom are ghosted, i.e. I cannot choose which SIM I use for outgoing calls and it shows 'Not set'. Here's an image of this looks like. Please tell me if you guys can, I am in dire need of some advice regarding this issue. Firefox Tab Queue not working on Mi 9 Lite Posted: 03 Jun 2020 05:59 PM PDT I have enabled the option for tab queuing in Firefox for Android (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/open-links-background-later-viewing-firefox-android)). Therefore, when I open a link from outside of Firefox, the notification panel at the bottom of the screen appears, and it immediately opens the link in Firefox if I click on Open now. However, if I decide not to open it immediately and click other links to be queued, the app notification with tab waiting (as shown in step 4 from the above link) does not show up. The phone is a Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite (Android 10), Firefox for Android version 68.8.1. I have already enabled all notification options in the app settings and I have disabled all battery saving options from Xiaomi settings. Does this option work in your phone? Thanks! Miui 12 third party icon animations Posted: 03 Jun 2020 12:58 PM PDT I installed xiaomi.eu miui 12 and I noticed that third party icons of even lesser known apps are now animated, it's really like magic seeing boost for Reddit animate its stars or ice box behaving like the snowflake and the corner are separate layers. I own a redmi 8a with 32GB of storage then I got an 64GB SD card and used it as internal storage. I was under the impression that I would be able to get those 32+64! I figured I would get 96B total. The problem is that -please see attached short video - the original 32GB is now under "System Storage" You can see in the image 41GB used for system storage. That's the 9GB for OS + the original 32GB!!! Those 32GB should not have been sucked into system storage. That should be free spare space that I could use for apps or whatever. Anything above the 0-10% of brightness is to bright for my eyes and disturbing my eyes if I put at 0-10 can't use apps or games cuz it's dark!! Tried reading mode but it didn't help!
