I did a clean flash so I wiped everything but internal storage. I noticed that my status bar is not working as I had it in miui 11. I'm getting 3 dots after 3 notification icons, which shouldn't happend since I don't even have a notch on my device. I thought I'd activate the "show icons for incoming notifications" settings but I don't have it on my device. Is there a way to activate or fix this manually? It's driving me crazy. I have already tried downloading that SetEdit Thing and setting the fod_animation thing to 4 or -1 or any other value, but it just keeps the one stock animation. Is there any way to disable it? | Redmi Note 8 Screen completely black Posted: 02 May 2020 01:51 PM PDT I bought my Redmi note 8 last year, I had no problems until now: Today, out of the blue, the screen turned completely black. It charges ( the tiny light is on). The fingerprint sensor apparently is ok. I tried all the tricks the I've found (press power and volume up or power and the volume down) . I can feel it vibrating a little , but nothing appears on the screen, not even the logo, so I can't reboot it. I connected to the pc so I could at least save my files, but it doesn't appear there. The glass on my front cameras is slightly broken, the broken part cover the lower camera but the upper one is perfectly fine. When i take a photo the image comes from the lower camera (the one covered by the broken glass) so the image is very blurry and pretty unreadable, hence why i would like the image to come from the other camera.
