A satisfying classic indie platformer I've found. It's pretty cool for it's 10k downloads. It's free and there are some ads which are not that intrusive. Name: Nameless Cat

    Looking for Long term game

    Posted: 31 May 2020 05:38 PM PDT

    Hey,

I am looking for a long term game I can spend my time on. Played a lot of games like rise of kingdoms, clash of clans, shakes and fidget etc. I really enjoy the social aspect of a game so would be nice if the game has a clan/guild System. Non pay2win would be perfect but not necessary. Would love to join an existing guild/community. I am really active and can play several hours a day.

    Thanks in advance

    Project RIP Mobile: First Impressions

    Posted: 31 May 2020 12:35 PM PDT

I'm playing this game for about a week and I have to say that is excellent, and I wanted to share my first impressions about it.

    Gameplay

It plays similarly to COD Zombie Mode and Dead Trigger. You pick three weapons, one primary one secondary and a melee. It also has various perks available, such dual wielding for handguns and others. In game, there is a bunch of power-ups, inspired from COD Zombies, such as Infinite Ammo and Holy Grenade (similar to the Nuke).

    Pros:

    1. FANTASTIC Graphics (powered by Unreal Engine 4 it looks gorgeous, especially when the blood of your dismembered enemies splashes in your face)

    2. Fully Customizable controls with optional Auto-shoot and Controller Support

    3. No P2W, you can get everything by playing the game, buying Souls (the game's currency) is optional since you get it anyway in-game. Also it has no timers, no energy system no BS. New guns, perks and agents are automatically unlocked by levelling-up.

    4. No forced ads (rewarded video ads are available in the store)

    5. Gameplay feels fluid and intense.

    6. Many guns. There are 15 ranged and 5 melee weapons, ranging from Assault Rifles and pistols to a Grenade Launcher and a LMG.

    7. Many enemies types and 3 bosses.

    Cons:

    1. In mission mode there are 3 maps available and in arena mode another 3, 6 in total. Is not exactly bad for a game that released 1 month ago, but it'll be good to see more maps

    2. Game can be pretty unforgiving when many demons trap you in a corner, since the only way to escape is to kill everything blocking your path. Also, some zombies crouch when attacking, effectively dodging point-blank shots. One tip here: be Always on the move, check your ammo and change the control method to manual shooting.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not affiliated in any way with the Dev or the company behind the game. I just found out a game that IMO, is worthy of your time and wanted to give it some attention.

    EDIT: some typos

[REQUEST] Choose your own adventure "games" or similar text based games

    Posted: 31 May 2020 10:12 PM PDT

I just finished the first Wayhaven Chronicles book and I would really like more CYOA games (they're really more like books) to play. Anything free or under a dollar is preferred so I can save up for book two of Wayhaven.

I like text based in general so if you have recommendations for other types of text based games please share.

Planescape Torment, my favourite game of all time is available on Android store

    Posted: 31 May 2020 09:18 PM PDT

This game, was developed by the same company as the original 2 fallout games, and published by the same company as Baldur's

It was a very good and satisfying experience playing this game. It worked very well on a small smart phone.

However, go into settings and increase font sizes for dislogue as much as you can.

    Tablets

    Posted: 31 May 2020 08:55 PM PDT

What would you say the top three android gaming tablets are? Here's my thinking. I'm running a pixel 3XL and it's a wonderful phone I've had no issues with and it's paid off. I want a bigger screen for games like codm and bullet echo. It doesn't make sense to spend $1,100 on a note 10 plus when I could spend idk considerably less on a 8inch or 10inch tablet. Personally I think a 8 inch tablet would be better for holding in you hands and playing while chilling on the back porch in a chair over a 10". Any opinions from anyone that has done similar?

What do you feel is missing from google play store these days?

    Posted: 31 May 2020 05:40 AM PDT

This might seem very vague but is there a type of game that you miss or wish there existed or was more of? This could also be interpreted as a saturation of games/ genres/ styles.

We have just developed & released our first Flutter game. Help us out :)

    Posted: 31 May 2020 12:58 PM PDT

Hi guys, not sure if this is the right subreddit, but it seems like a good place to get opinion and advice, and we'd love to hear it from you. Although this is not our first game, it's our first developed in Flutter.

We really love the Alias guessing game (explain the term without using that word or its root), and were horrendously bored during the pandemic, so we decided to make our own version of the game and see how it goes.

Filmsy is a social game you can play with friends. The rules are simple - set up the teams, explain the given movie, TV series, or actor titles from the chosen category, and make sure to have fun while doing it. You can explain the titles any way you want - words, draw, or portray - whatever suits you the most. The first team that scores the required number of points wins.

You can download the app here from the Play Store. We would love it if you could check it out and let us know what you think, what we could improve on, and maybe give us a review or share it with your friends if you like it. Thanks in advance :)

    MMORPG with Open World PvP?

    Posted: 31 May 2020 09:43 AM PDT

I played Rucoy Online over 3 yrs ago & it was a blast.

Seen a lot of people promote Laurum Online, Mirage Realms, Mystera Legacy.

Laurum doesn't have any good PvP vids on YT. Your take on this?

Mystera is very fun so far. I love the survival aspect of it.

As for Mirage Realm, haven't played it yet. It reminds me of Tibia, which I have played many years ago.

Overall, people say Laurum & Mirage Realms have good group play? How so?

Any details on each game in terms of the PvP, grinding, sandbox elements, etc. would be appreciated and ty

    Ark Mobile might surprise you!

    Posted: 31 May 2020 05:35 PM PDT

So I recently decided to give Ark Mobile a shot and oh boy was I impressed, I have over a thousand hours on the pc version so when I saw the release of the Android version I chuckled and thought it would just be a hot mess, but I have been looking for a mobile survival game to play on the side so I gave it a go.

Firstly the content in the game is outstanding, it's basically the base game of Ark with the island map but this includes everything from thatch housing to tech.

The game runs surprisingly well and the multiplayer is extremely active with everything from PvP to PvE and a mix of both on the PvX servers.

The thing that turns most people off of a mobile game is whether or not it's pay to win, and while ark does have a store with items that can benefit you in game there are methods to earn premium currency in game for free and the items you can buy aren't overpowered or game breaking.

So if anyone is looking for a survival game on mobile I'd seriously consider giving ark a go.

Hope this post helps people out there trying to play on their phones.

Help needed with the OG classic Galaxy on fire 2

    Posted: 31 May 2020 09:08 AM PDT

    What's up my dudes,

Here's the deal - while my oneplus 7t pro can open and run the game properly, the settings screen extends itself beyond the screen and i can't scroll down it. I suppose it was never made for widescreen devices... in any case, i tried adjusting the phones resolution to no effect. Has anyone run into this issue and is able to help? Is there some way to patch the game with my desired settings?
