    I have made an application and would like your sincere feedback.

    The App is called Animu. It is for the people who watch r/anime**.**

    It creates a stream of recommendations that user can surf through and can curate a list of animes to watch.

    What are some interesting apps that can be assist apps?

    I mean the apps, which can be triggered via long pressing the home button or holding the power button for 0,5 sec (depending on a phone).

    These are commonly used for Google Assistant or something, but for example Greenify can take advantage of this as well as Screeshot Assistant. Do you know any other apps that can use this shortcut?

    So i horsed around and bought a very used pixel 2 to play around with android, long time iphone user. I know NOTHING about apps and encryption, etc. I started to set up the phone and says its a (very large social media company's) company phone and has mobileiron on it. It requires a login and i can't do anything. Tried to reset and everything. Is there anything I can do? Is it "bricked"?

    My carrier has an unlimited YouTube package and I'm using it. However, for other services it is limited so I have to rely on my Wi-fi.

    Is there an app so that once I open the YouTube app it turns Wi-fi off and switches cellular data on?

    I don't wanna root my phone

    Is Open Camera better than stock?

    I've a Xiaomi A2 lite , used mostly stock camera but tried Open Camera and liked the various options. I don't want to root phone, install Google cam mods or strange stuff...

    Is open camera better to use than stock camera, generally speaking? Are there things that stock camera can do and open camera cannot access, or similar issues?

    I'm trying it now, but I prefer to hear experienced users...

    Anybody else not receiving Google surveys?

    Since the past 25 days or so the Google Opinion reward app has been running bone dry. I thought abt a fresh install, but decided to ask a friend who has this app as well in my circle, and he too has not seen any survey since more than three weeks.

    I am guessing this corona virus lockdown has had an effect on Google's survey roll outs.

    Anybody else experiencing the same? When was the last time you had a survey?

    Using phone camera and microphone as external to a linux PC?

    I need to connect my phone's camera and mic as external to a linux laptop, so I'd be able to use it in conference app/browser.

    Simple IP camera app wouldn't work, since I won't be able to use it in conference apps.

    What would you suggest?

    UPDATE: Managed to get Video stream with DroidCam, but not Audio.

    Map for exploring the real world like in video games

    Is there a map app that tracks your movement and opens up places and regions on the map after you have been to this place? Before this, the map must be covered by fog, darkness or something like that. It would be just as cool to leave notes, new places and attach photos you took to certain places.
