Posted: 01 Mar 2020 05:44 PM PST All of the 193 items were gathered from chests and playing the game. Confidence Level: 95% (percent chance that my analysis represents reality, common number in studies) Confidence Interval: 7.05% (the error that is possible in my results. Example: if my results shows that there is a chance that the coin will flip tails 50% of the time, with confidence interval in mind, the real value is 50% +-7.05% so from 42.95 to 57.05 percent. I would love to do a proper test with thousands of data to get more accurate results, but I am not spending any money on this and time investment would be insane. Hypothesis one: Item drops are not influenced by item type.(example: so if there are 6 weapons out of 26 items, there should be a 23% chance to get a weapon out of every drop) Hypothesis two: If highest level gear in inventory is equipped, that gear drops less often than any other gear. (example: if level 30 lazer bat is highest level spirit item in your inventory and is equipped, other spirits will drop more often than the lazer bat). Thing to note: I have used 2 lazer bats and two wolf rings. results: hypothesis one is proven to be wrong. https://i.imgur.com/QfSV33j.jpg Data clearly shows that item type influences item drop by a huge margin. Weapon drop way more than any other item type (31 percent drop rate). Armor and ring drop rate is pretty high as well (23 percent). Spirit drop rate is similar (19 percent), but it falls into our 7.05% Confidence Interval (23 percent and 19 percent difference is only 4 percent), so we can't know for sure if rings drop at the same rate as armor or spirits. Bracelet and Locket drop rate is where things start to get more interesting. Bracelet drop rate only hit 2 percent while Locket drop rate is only 1 percent. This clearly means that these item types drop way less often. Hypothesis two is a bit more complicated because bracelets and Lockets had dropped only few times, so they are not included in the calculation. What I have tried to do here is to compare 4 equipped item drop rates with average drop rates. Sadly we have not enough data to have conclusive results (further explanation below). https://i.imgur.com/XX8KCfe.jpg Even thought the results show that out of every item drop (not counting bracelets and lockets), there was suppose to be 21.6 percent chance to get any of my 4 highest level items that I had equipped and my actual drop rate was 16.6 percent. It is only 21,6-16,6=5 percent less and that falls into this study's Confidence Interval: 7.05%. So if it's less than 7.05 percent, it's perfectly expected because sample size (number of items) in this study is not big enough to have a greater accuracy. Hypothesis 2 is neither confirmed or denied. I would need 1066 item drops to get Confidence Interval down to 3 percent, which would be way more interesting, but no time/resources for that. I hope somebody enjoyed reading this. Have a nice day! p.s: items dropped: (star marks items that I had equipped) [link] [comments]

[REQUEST] Trying to find a specific game. Posted: 01 Mar 2020 05:08 PM PST Edit: Request fulfilled! :) I saw this guy playing this game, so I wanted to try it for myself. It's a dungeon, turn based card game, at least I think so where you enter a dungeon and defeat enemies. You roll a number between 1 to 12, when you get a number higher than your enemies roll, you deal damage to it but if you don't, the enemy damages you. You can find cards randomly throughout in the dungeon to help you during battles. (EX. "roll between 3 to 6" chance card.) The icon of the game has a black background and a purple symbol if I remember correctly. If anyone recognizes this game please tell me, I really appreciate it! :) [link] [comments]

Games that run SMOOTH on high-refresh devices? (90Hz specifically) Posted: 01 Mar 2020 08:54 PM PST Hey all, I have a OnePlus 7 Pro and I'm looking for 90Hz games that run SMOOTH. Only one I've found so far is Mortal Kombat Mobile. A lot of "High refresh" games have a ton of frame dips (PUBG, CoD M, etc), anybody have any good ones? [link] [comments]

Looking for an empire strategy game Posted: 01 Mar 2020 11:29 AM PST I'm currently playing state of survival and chief almighty 10000 bc. I was wondering if there was a more in depth strategy game out there. Didn't like clash of clans. I really enjoy a story like in state of survival. I enjoy building a city and going out on a world map to collect or defeat enemies. I'm new to mobile games only been playing for a week sorry. Thanks for the help. [link] [comments]

[Request] Games like true skate? Bought a bunch of games but nothing is clicking need recommendations. Posted: 01 Mar 2020 12:45 PM PST Mobile is not my cup of tea when it comes to gaming but if there is one game I can comfortably play over and over again it is Hearthstone. I have spent quite a lot of money on games I know and love on PC but on my mid sized android phone screen nothing can keep me engaged like hearthstone with its big clear and easy to navigate UI and gameplay. I need something to keep me busy during a slow sunday night shift. Games I have bought and played a bit then never touched again are Don't Starve Poly Bridge Terraria Motorsport Manager. I would love some recommendations from someone in the same boat as me, where the touch screen and navigation in most games are a hassle to them but could recommend something else that is big bulky addictive and fun. I don't mind spending money for a premium product with no ads, that is in fact prefferable. I enjoyed a bit of pixel dungeon, its still a tad too finnicky though in case that helps. Thanks [link] [comments]
[REQUEST] need game recs for low end phone Posted: 01 Mar 2020 07:11 AM PST I've got a low end phone if like to put a few games on. Something that doesn't take up much space or require many resources. I'd like it to be a grindy type game that doesn't need p2w. Portrait mode is preferred, but not required. [link] [comments]

[REQUEST] Game that wasn't made for touchscreen gestures but works perfectly fine on a touchscreen Posted: 01 Mar 2020 07:28 AM PST Kinda sick of regular games on mobile I'm looking for quality games [either ported or on mobile first] that weren't designed for a ton of touchscreen gestures because games designed for other platforms seem to have a different kind of feel? Examples are any of the tomorrow corp games (world of goo, human resource machine, little inferno) life is strange, the papas blankria games, etc. Obviously touchscreen controls are fine I'm just sick of games with heavy swiping and flicking and tapping every 5 seconds it's super tedious [link] [comments]
