Why are people desperately waiting for Android 10 Posted: 01 Mar 2020 03:05 PM PST I am just asking, is there a legit reason why people want the newest Android version? Because for me it doesn't make sense because most features from Stock Android won't be ported. Or yes? I switched from Pixel 3a Android 10 to Note 8 Pro Android 9 and MIUI 11 feels more polished and has much better features, a superior gesture system, etc. The only feature I will benefit from Android 10 is the Dark Mode for Gmail. Main menu boot loop? Posted: 01 Mar 2020 04:08 PM PST My girlfriend's redmi note 7 is stuck in this strange boot loop in wich the screen is totally black with white writing that says "main menu, reboot, wipe data, ecc.". If i choose reboot, the screen shows the redmi logo for some seconds, then returns in the main menu screen, i tried to wipe data and restart but nothing. I came to the conclusion that I have to flash the stock ROM or something (I'm not an expert sadly :c) but I have no idea on how i can do that and what i have to do exactly. Sadly youtube is full of old videos and I tried something called MI flash tool, but it didn't recognised the device (honestly I have no clue on if the device could have been recognised while on the main menu page, since the tutorial spoke about a fast recovery mode and how to get there, but the phone just doesen't allow me to do the power button + volume down trick). [Mi A3] Fingerprint isssue after Android 10 update. Posted: 01 Mar 2020 06:07 AM PST It is really getting annoying. After updating my Mi A3 to android 10 yesterday, the fingerprint sensor just refuses to work. It did that right after the update. I removed all my previous fingerprints ( I had three (3) fingers set up) and reassinged a finger again. It was working for some time as intended. But now I assigned a second finger and since then it stopped working again. I tried removing and reassinging fingers, powering off and restarting the phone but nothing have been fruitful. Posted: 01 Mar 2020 04:57 PM PST Howdy folks, I'm currently having issues with sending or receiving MMS on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 CN (Qualcomm) running Xiaomi.eu 11.0.5.0. I have tried with both the stock and the Google Messages app, and I just get an error when sending and no incoming MMS works, but regular SMS and calls are fine. Fast Charging issue in Mi A3 ANDROID 10 Posted: 01 Mar 2020 11:58 AM PST Does anyone here facing issue about Fast charging after Android 10 update? Lockscreen says Charging rapidly but amperes apps report around 500 to 1500mA. It works fine before in Android pie im getting 2000+ mA I tried normal normal power brick and it works normal. Switch from MUIU 11 to LineAge Posted: 01 Mar 2020 07:02 AM PST In October of 2019 I got new Xiaomi 9t with MUIU 10 and Android 9.0 which worked for two days easily on a single charge, after a month i found out that Xiaomi is about to release MiUI 11 with android 10, so i got excited about it but for about some time I found out that people reported about huge decrease in battery time, so I was a little bit worried about that but thought Xiaomi would update their MUIU and fix it but apparently they didn't, I guess, because in February I got my MUIU 11 and I noticed battery time decreased allot, now I am lucky to have 20% at the end of day (about 16 hours) About a week ago I decided to unlock bootloader and install via Fastboot TWRP, which was hard because last phone I was installing TWRP was Samsung and I had ODIN and that was easy there. The main reason I had problems with Fastboot was that phone didn't want to boot into TWRP via Command line. It was really bad because I wanted to install custom rom because of battery but I need also GPay, and after so long waiting I got nothing on both sides, so I got desperate and tried it again but this time i made him boot into TWRP with buttons (volume up and power button) and it worked. I was happy seeing TWRP logo. After that I downloaded Extended UI rom which people recommend me because it is "buttery smooth", but my phone is "Davinci" (which I found out after TWRP rom installation said it to me with Error 7), so I switched to familiar for me LOS with 10.0 and was actually happy. After that I flashed Magisk, made Magisk hide from almost all apps that was in the list and repacked it (with strange name "what"), so Root status on phone wasn't seen by any apps or Gapps, but still... GPay didn't work. I found on some xda forum post about "Custom rom + Root = no Google pay?" and there in comments some dude translated from polish forum a method to modify android.google.gms with number "040" via TWRP. I had no clue it would work but it actually is, after that I had custom rom, 27+ hours on single charge, 9+ hours of SOT, Root and GPay and I am happy about that. What do you think, guys?
