Edit .raw photos taken with S9+

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 07:11 AM PST

    EDIT: Sorted.
I had adjusted the colour profile so it wouldn't save raw files. This sorted it: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-9/help/error-pro-mode-save-raw-copies-adjusted-t3934654

I have my S9+ camera settings set to save both jpeg and raw photos when using pro mode and have Snapseed ready to edit the raw files. However, I can't find the files anywhere despite using pro mode.

I have searched for both raw and dng in 'my files' both Internal and SD card but with no luck.

Anyone know where I can find the raw files to then edit them?

[Question] Just bought the q90r soundbar and I’ve noticed that audio seems to dip up and down instead of staying at a consistent level. Why is this and can I change it?

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 03:32 AM PST

Secondly, it's quite loud (not usually a bad thing) but I'd love to know everyone's settings.

Does Samsung provide good phones? (Reposted for lack of flair)

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 07:32 AM PST

Samsung phones, especially the midrange area, seem to cheap out, for lack of a better term.

A60: gave us a hole punch wit an lcd that no one asked for.

A70: good screen and battery, but the soc and camera leave alot to be desired. The back is also plastic rather than metal or glass, along with the frame. It is understandable how samsung needs to cut costs with their cheaper phones, but the Xiaomi mi 9t has a telephoto, ultrawide and wide, a popup camera, and a superior soc while still being relatively similar in price to the a70.

A80: the phone has a pretty good selfie camera , but that's about it. The back is glass, that's also good. But there is a smaller battery, and the soc is a 730. Bo headphone jack either. Te phone comes for 580 pounds on the Samsung website. The 4k on the front camera is pretty good, but for the price, it doesnt even have a telephoto lens.

A90: probably the worst out of the bunch. 630 right now, with no telephoto lens. the soc is the 855, theres that. But samsung gave us a 5g phone that is supposedly cheap when 5g is barely even usable. Maybe it might be useful of you kept your phones updated for longer!

The M30s is better on this regard. It still has a not great camera and a plastic back with a worse soc than 675 but that is forgiven with its mammoth battery and really good price point. Surprisingly, it is only 229 on amazon, and the Samsung website has it available in the middle east, so I dont know that price point. But this is a pretty good deal for the price.

Note ten lite: why does it use an old soc (note 9 soc). Unless the price is really good, which I doubt it it.

S10 lite: No telephoto camera! A macro! Why? The 855 was really good, thanks, but a macro? Unless, ofcourse, they are priced nicely.

But the real problem with Samsung phones: The software support. Why do they have only 2 updates? Even on their 1000 quid plus phones! Yes, we can boatload, but we shouldn't have to, since the customer is paying this much. Its trashy, and why I refuse to buy a Samsung flagship. OnePlus, Apple, even Xiaomi are better at this! Really bad planned obsolescence. The s20 is going to have these cool specs, but only software support for two godforsaken years!

Oh, and dont forget they dont put pull tabs on their batteries in their phones, which is a really dummy thing to do, making recycling the phone and replacing the battery very dangerous.

    ICloud Lock for android?

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 03:03 AM PST

    Hi Guys,

I switched from iOS to Android and was curious if there is something like iCloud lock if I loose my Note 10?

    Stolen iPhone = stolen garbage
Stolen Android = boot into fastbot and install custom ROM can use again.

    Cheers

Galaxy buds/ streaming audio quality very poor.

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 06:20 AM PST

I notice it mostly in my galaxy buds, but the sound quality is like watching a YouTube video at 480p. I've reset, adjusted steaming quality, pretty much everything I know to check, and nothing. Please help me before I sell them and get something else lmao

How to remove samsung update notification from my A50?

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 06:14 AM PST

Today, I accidentaly started updating my device because I left auto-update with Wi-Fi on. And since updates just make my phone slower, I decided to stop the update. The problem is, that when I have it paused, a notifcation indicating that my update is paused appears on my notification bar. I tried to postpone the notification but Samsung doesn't allow pernament postpone but only 2 hours. I tried to disable notifications on software update through settings but that option aswell is disabled. So, is there any way to remove this notification?

Eject DVD using Samsung Smart Remote

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 06:00 AM PST

So I connected an old BluRay player to my QE55Q70R. It is HDMI-CEC controllable, so I can navigate in its menu using the Smart Remote, switch it on/off, etc. Great so far.

But the player "Eject" button is broken, and the TV remote has no eject button!

How can I send an "Eject" command from the remote? Does it have any programmatibility?

    Thanks!
