    Interesting...

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 08:24 PM PST

    This subreddit keeps getting worse.

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 04:26 AM PST

Its all images of people who have just switched from iPhone, or posts bragging about how great is the Samsung ecosystem, and that it is much better than Apple's.

There no posts that generate useful discussions. It just a place for everyone to upload a photo of their new Samsung gadget.

    Go ahead, yell at me!

The switch has been made! Went with my mom so my dad couldn’t force me to get an IPhone. They had one red one from Black Friday and it’s beautiful! (Question in comments too since I’m posting anyway lmao.)

One UI 2.0 Crashes every few minutes on Note 10+

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 05:24 AM PST

All through the beta and now with the official release, every few minutes, all the icons on the home screen disappear and then reaper. This usually happens when I exit an app to the hike screen using the swipe-up-from-the-middle-bottom gesture.

I assume that's One UI crashing.

I was using the patched Google phone app and thought maybe that was the culprit. But, I switched back to the Samsung phone app and the issue persists.

During the beta, I notified Samsung of the issue and never got any response.

It doesn't seem like it could be a widespread issue, or more people would be posting about it.

Any idea what could be causing this or how I can narrow it down?

Bluetooth battery life in status bar

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 07:35 AM PST

On my old Iphone I could see the bluetooth battery life in the status bar, I switched over to a note 10 because android fits my life better. I know you can see your bluetooth battery life in smart things but I cant seem to find an option to put it in the status bar.

Text Notifications stays after I respond

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 06:16 AM PST

So I use the default samsung sms app and if I get a notification of a text sometimes I'll respond through the notification pull down. But it seems once I reply the notification just gets longer and longer unless I press mark as read too. Any way to make the notification go away after you reply.

Overexposed photos on Note 10+ 5g normal?

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 06:03 AM PST

When I take photos, they are overexposed and do not look right at all. My S9 takes better photos. Does anyone else's device do this, or is it just mine?

    BT issue with S9

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 05:57 AM PST

So with most phones going headjack-less , I decided to buy some wireless buds. They work great!

However, when ever my S9 in in my Jeans pocket the connect its iffy, seems to lose connection for less then half a second every few seconds. If I have my phone in my hand (when out walking) everything is fine.

I've tried clearing cache, switching BT off/on and restarting phone. I'm still on PIE with latests updates.

I tried them with a S10 and seemed to work just fine.

Galaxy Note 10 Lite and what it means for Samsung Updates...

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 08:06 AM PST

Since the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite were announced earlier today I noticed something rather interesting about the Note.

"The company didn't reveal the actual chipset inside this one, but confirmed it is built on a 10nm process and comes with an octa-core CPU with four cores at 2.7 GHz and four more at 1.7 GHz. This sounds like an Exynos 9810 with slightly downclocked CPU. RAM is again 6/8GB and the storage is 128GB, but you can add to it via microSD cards."

"The Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note10 Lite will ship with Android 10 out of the box that has One UI 2 on top."

As we all know, the controversial Exynos 9810 is the CPU of the S9.

What I mean by this is that since the Android devices usually have somewhere around 18 months of updates (2 major releases, give or take), the Note should be updated until 2022.

Taking into account that the biggest issues for updates are the CPU/GPU drivers that are not updated to the newer versions and that they released now a phone with a 2 year old CPU, maybe they will update the S9 or S10 longer than those 18 months.

NOTE: This supposition is made with no public info about the GPU.

So my Samsung S9+ got stolen, and i have some questions regarding the encryption.

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 04:17 AM PST

Hi all, i don't know if this is the correct place to post this, but here goes:

This year during New Year's Eve (Close to 10PM), my phone got stolen somehow, i reported it to the police and gave them the IMEI and all corresponding info.

Since i am not really one to just sit idly and wait, i decided to check upon the Avast Anti-theft system and i saw that the thief has boarded the subway train (NY, Brooklyn) and went off with the phone to a location (hard to pinpoint exactly) and when it reached a certain spot, it just stood there for probably 20 minutes, before my phone being turned off.

At this point i've pretty much lost the connection with the device, but it's still linked to the Anti-theft system (By IMEI code), but since it was turned off, it stopped sending me updates (3 days now without updates). Now, in order to turn it on, you have to enter the Pin to decrypt the phone(Yes, it's encrypted when it's restarted for safety purposes).

So now i'd like to ask these quick questions:

    A) If my phone is encrypted, can it still acces Mobile data and try to send me updates with the Avast Anti-Theft, or is it unable to connect to anything?

    B) Is it possible for the thief to plug my phone into a PC and access my data?

The unlocking mode i put into my phone is pretty solid, or at least so it seems, because the thief tried to unlock it 3 times during his trip on the subway (got notified of failed tries to my PC), so i don't really expect him to just crack it down.

EDIT: Formatting it to make it easier to the eye.

Downloaded a game, downloaded a facepack with thousands of small pictures and logos. I don't want it to show up when I open gallery or messages, how can I ?

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 07:59 AM PST

I have a S10e, and downloaded Football Manager 2020. I have maybe like 20k pictures from logos, kits, and player faces but all of those pictures show up when I open anything regarding gallery. It's really annoying and causes 5-6 second delay everytime I open either app for a pictures. Is it possible to have them only be in the game file but not show up for me in galerry?

Anyone having experience with using Galaxy Watch Active with an iPhone?

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 07:51 AM PST

I'm planning to get an iPhone but still want to use my galaxy watch active as my watch, I've found out Samsung released the Galaxy weareble app for iOS to pair Samsung watches with iPhones. What I'm not sure about is how will I be able to update the software just like it is on Samsung phons ?

One UI 2 a little sluggish for anyone else?

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 07:51 AM PST

I seem to be getting little stutters or lost frames in animations here and there. Shouldn't really be happening on a note10+. Already cleared cache partition, optimized, etc. Is the release still not optimized? Or does the phone need time to learn?
