| Xiaomi mi a3 on republic wireless Posted: 08 Dec 2019 07:14 PM PST So anyway after a lot of time and getting stuck a fastboot loop I managed to root my mi a3 with magisk using the magisk manager app (highly recommend over twrp) and edited my build.prop and changed my model number to one of a Galaxy S7 edge (only the stuff republic checks after that I refreshed my activation and we were all good [link] [comments]  |
| MI 9T Pro - Lag during typing on Chrome Posted: 08 Dec 2019 05:05 PM PST I recently got the update for MUI 11, and since then I have started to get issues with Google Chrome. I don't know if it also happens in other apps, but I am usually not typing long enough for it to trigger. Anyhow, sometimes when I type the screen stops updating, but the keyboard still lets me input letters, so I can still write, and it will eventually show up. As you can imagine, that is not entirely ideal. It seems to resolve faster when I change from portrait to landscape and vice versa. I have also had that I couldn't select the tabs, and that the tabs fell over each other in the adress balk. I click on the adress balk, and the adress balk was suddenly weird. Like, bottom half was there, top half was something different. The Google app is updated, so I was wondering if this happens because of the MUI update? Thank you in advance. [link] [comments]  |

| Mi 9 Lite not vibrating unless charging or above 65% battery Posted: 08 Dec 2019 11:37 AM PST So I bought a Mi 9 Lite a while ago and while I love the phone, it has this one weird issue. The vibrate function only works when the phone is charging or has more than 65% battery. I actually sent it back after a while but the replacement has the exact same problem. Could not solve it in the settings so far and I haven't found anything about it online. The phone is currently on Android 9 and MIUI Global 11.3.3 Stable Has anyone else here had the same experience and perhaps knows a solution? [link] [comments]  |

Would the EMMC storage on the Redmi Note 7 Pro make that much of a difference, in terms of day to day performance. Also, those using the Redmi Note 8 (especially if you 'upgraded' from a Redmi Note 7/7 Pro), is the mono speaker significantly louder than it's predecessor? Thanks in advance. Cheers! | Help activating sim- Xiaomi mi 9t Posted: 08 Dec 2019 01:23 PM PST I have a 3 SIM which I have put in my Xiaomi phone but the sim card won't seem to activate. I can make calls and recieve texts but I cannot use my own data. I can use wi-fi. I have notification which say "activating sim card" but it never changes. Just had the phone imported from China if that helps. I've seen other posts which mention a text needing to be sent and people add credit to their phone.im not sure how to as I have a monthly plan, I figured credit would just be taken from it. | How to fix the image/video smoothing on my mi 9 lite? Posted: 08 Dec 2019 01:10 PM PST I've been noticing some really bad smudging in pictures and videos, particularly when the subject is my cat. My friend said it's noise reduction but I've tried every setting I could find in the camera but nothing has helped. All it does is remove detail from the picture, like in the cat's case, her fur gets all smudgy?
