| Gboard voice typing not recognising secondary language Posted: 29 Dec 2019 07:33 AM PST When voice typing with Gboard I switch between German and English. This worked and works for ages across all devices but out of a sudden, I think when I switched to the Pixel 3a, just on this device, Gboard doesn't recognise when I dictate in German. Mind, if I use Google Assistent I can ask in German, so it's not my bad pronunciation ;). On a different device (Huawei tablet) I can dictate in German on Gboard, no problem.. I looked really everywhere, removed all data from Gboard without success and wonder if somebody has the same problems.. [link] [comments]  |

Intention is to scan a target barcode (once, at the beginning) and then scan a bunch of other barcodes to match them with the target barcode. A small beep/green light if it matches, an alarm/red light if it doesn't. This is the only output I need - don't need to log the scanning data anywhere, or connect to a database, or pull anything from an existing file, or do any fancy analysis Has to use one (or multiple) barcode scanner devices that can connect to the phone (wirelessly preferably). I like them, but I find their touch controls a bit too sensitive, always going off when I don't want them to and not really responsive when I actually try to use them. I've tried disabling "headphone" type hotkeys using apps like Button Mapper, but to no avail: they don't seem to count as "headphone controls" and the "custom key" option on the app doesn't work with them either. Any idea on how I could get rid of these? I'm open to drastic solutions like using nail polish and whatnot, except I don't think they can be opened to manipulate the inside. Thanks a lot!
