What's wrong with these OnePlus service centers. Posted: 12 Dec 2019 02:33 AM PST So this happen in a span of few months. Decided to visit them directly. Took 2 and half hour bus ride to get there. Gave the phone there and they replaced the battery and paid the price of a "NEW" battery plus service charge. Forwarding a week later, i don't notice any kind of improvements on phones battery backup, nothing at all. So installed accubattery so get an idea of the capacity of the battery. After a week, accubattery reported the battery capacity as 81% (which was same as the original battery, which made sense the since the new battery was giving the same battery life as my old one.) So my "NEW" battery ain't new. It was a degraded one. Which they charged me for a "NEW" battery. I can them again, Still no one picks up the phone, this goes on for weeks again. I make myself some free time and go there directly, again. These travels are expensive btw I've already spend more than half of the batteries price just to get this "new" battery fixed. A week ago i got another one replaced.i'm seeing a little improvement but not what i was expecting. Installed accubattery again ,This time the capacity was at 90%. I meant WTF, I already asked them take the battery give me my money back. they say " that option is not available". All i can say is Oneplus is stealing money from the customers who are uneducated about these kind of stuff and selling degraded batteries. I'm just so fucking tired tbh. Did i mention my power and volume button magically died after just three days after i got my battery replaced. [link] [comments]
My thoughts about my One Plus 7 Pro Posted: 12 Dec 2019 06:24 AM PST I bought a Nexus 5 way back in 2014. It lasted me until spring of last year. I started using my wife's old iphone 5s as a placeholder phone. In October, I finally decided it was time to make a choice on a new phone. I was really trying to hold out for the Pixel 4, as I enjoyed my Nexus 5. After they released all of the specs and what the price point would be, I was pretty disappointed. I saw a few people mention that Oneplus would be much better bang for your buck. So I ended up getting a OP7Pro with 12 GB of RAM. I found a deal on swappa for a like new phone. It came with some other accessories that made the deal even better. I was kicking my self for not waiting to see what the black friday deal would be, but I'm happy I snagged a 12 GB version. My experience with this phone has been awesome! I love the Oxygen UI. I liked google phones because it was pure android, but the Oxygen skin is pretty clean and didn't have any bloatware to deal with. I love the screen, as others have said, it's crisp and very smooth at 90 hz. Battery is not an issue for me especially with warp charge. My regular use of listening to podcasts and redditing for the day bring my battery to around 60% by the end of the day. I also upgraded right away to android 10 (currently on 10.0.3) and I have had nearly no issues. I think there were a couple times where an app was acting weird and I just had to restart. I also added Gcam and I like using it. The colors come out better for my taste most times. The stock camera is nice too since you can utilize all of the lenses. I'm not super picky about having the most crisp photos, so this camera exceeded what I wanted. Just wanted to give a positive post and let everyone know my experience has been great! OnePlus 7 Pro lag FIXED - Oxygen OS Version 10.0.2 Posted: 12 Dec 2019 03:46 PM PST I had issues for several days with horrible stuttering in all apps on my OP7 Pro. It got even worse every time the chat bubbles from Messenger would pop up, so i tried uninstalling Messenger and after a reboot... tada, all of the issues were gone. For anyone experiencing stuttering and lag on your OnePlus 7 Pro after updating to Android 10. Facebook Messenger seems to be the root cause of the issue. Clear the cache of the app via Settings > Apps & Notifications > See All *** Apps > Messenger > Storage & Cache > Clear Cache > Reboot So far i don't have any issues after reinstalling Messenger (version 243.0.0.12.117). Hope this can help someone. [link] [comments]
Tmobile oneplus 7 pro unlocked? Posted: 12 Dec 2019 07:42 PM PST I've searched google and reddit and the only threads i come up on are about flashing to the international version. I don't care about the phone being branded and dont care too much about getting updates faster. I just want to know if i can use a different carrier like verizon if the phone is paid off and unlocked. If anyone can give me a straight answer it would be appreciated. [link] [comments]
Are there any differences in hardware between the OnePlus 7 Pro GM1910 and GM1913? Posted: 12 Dec 2019 10:56 AM PST I ordered the oneplus 7 pro from a chinese store and on the website, it mentions that it is the gm1910 model. From what I've seen online the difference between the two lies on the software. Is that true? Could there possibly be any differences in the hardware? [link] [comments]

How do I stop sound/vibration when a song changes Posted: 12 Dec 2019 03:19 PM PST I'm using Retro Music Player and whenever a song changes whether manually or automatically, my phone vibrates when I'm on vibrate or plays a tone when I'm in ring mode. The only way I can see to fix this is by placing my music notification in the "Other" section so it doesn't make sound. Is there any other way to solve this? [link] [comments]
Samsung Galaxy watch 42mm compatibility with OnePlus 7t? Posted: 12 Dec 2019 09:03 AM PST Does anyone have this combo? If you do how is it working? Are calls, Facebook messenger, general notification and sms working and responding correctly? Feedback would be amazing and appreciated! Edit : Galaxy 40mm active as well? [link] [comments]

How do I remove the software chin? I just bought this thing but I just can't get over it. Posted: 12 Dec 2019 06:28 PM PST Is there ANY reasonable way to remove the software chin? At the bottom of the phone below the spacebar on the keyboard? It's showing up on Swiftkey and Gboard. I use gestures. [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Dec 2019 10:54 AM PST No issues before the update, now everyone is saying whenver they speak to me they can hear themselves echoing. Anyone else have same issue or a fix?? I have tried resetting mobile networks, turning VoLTE off, toggling airplane and mobile data off, 2/3G only off/on, lowered volume during call. Nothing works so far. Edit: Contacted OnePlus Support. He (Michael) suggested I shut down the phone completely, hold Volume Down + Power, Select English, clear Cache, clear cache and restart. (Do not erase everything, just cache). Seems to be working again with no echo. And here I thought we never needed to clear cache anymore.... [link] [comments]
OnePlus USB-C Bullet headphones impressions Posted: 12 Dec 2019 02:28 PM PST Although I'm generally not a fan of usb-c headphones and removing the headphone jack, I must say as headphones I'm pretty impressed. For one, the sound on these is nice and powerful. Easily could be fooled thinking they were much more expensive 'phones, because they pack a punch (maybe the extra 'oomph' is from the usb-c aspect/DAC?) If I were to nitpick, they perhaps lack a bit of clarity/depth, but for the price they are solid. Also, I have to add the fit is one of the best I've encountered with bullet-style headphones. Somehow they manage to not crowd my ear and block too much sound, and yet also do not fall out and remain very comfortable. This is a feat for my ears, as headphones even in-ear tend to fall out. I could never wear Airpods, for example. That all said, I do abhor the general idea of usb-c headphones as a replacement to 3.5mm, as the USB c connector is extra bulky and just...doesn't feel 'better.' Plus, I can't charge my 7T as I use them. But as it is, I'm happy these headphones provide a reasonable alternative to Bluetooth, which require charging/ extra management. Sometimes you just want to plug in and go. [link] [comments]
Oneplus 7t US tmobile GCAM question Posted: 12 Dec 2019 01:56 PM PST I used this site to download the gcam listed next to Android 10 for the Oneplus 7t. Couple questions I have - where can I place the config xml files that show with that versions? And is this safe on tmo US variant? Another thread for the 7 and 7 pro said it will delete your data....... Thoughts? [link] [comments]
Question on OnePlus 7 pro with 8 gigs of RAM Posted: 12 Dec 2019 01:46 PM PST So, I just ordered a OnePlus 7 Pro with 8 gigs of RAM and 256 gigs of storage from the OnePlus website. I've been looking at various sites and videos online that mention models with 6 and 12 gigs of RAM, but don't remember seeing any with 8 gigs of RAM. How many SKUs are there? Does the one that's currently on sale on the OnePlus website actually have 8 gigs of RAM? I am currently using a OnePlus 5 with 8 gigs of RAM, and would hate to think I've downgraded RAM with the new phone. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. [link] [comments]
Anybody else having issues uploading stories to Instagram for example? Posted: 12 Dec 2019 01:38 PM PST It has happened since I got the phone and only really affects Instagram aside from the crappy Bluetooth chip, but when I upload to Instagram Stories, it only loads the first video but then errors out the rest of the videos. Anybody experience that before? I've delete the cache and the storage and even removed the app completely and restarted the phone. So this is a surprise to me. Edit this is on a Tmo 7t [link] [comments]
total garbage: call muted my audio Posted: 12 Dec 2019 05:18 PM PST I had an important phone interview and the person tried calling multiple times. I didn't mute them or myself but they could hear me. After 4-5 repeated calls that they gave up and they're going to reschedule. Wtf???? [link] [comments]
OP6, 10.0.1 bug - keyboard lags, non-Gboard keyboards almost unusable after ending outgoing call Posted: 12 Dec 2019 09:41 AM PST After ending outgoing calls, keyboards becomes laggy and only semi responsive. This affects third party keyboards most. I factory reset after updating to 10.0.1, and wiped cache after finding out the cause was calling (possibly outgoing calls?) Thought it was just my unoptimized blackberry keyboard at first, but it also affects minuum keyboard. Gboard, while still usable, is noticably laggier as well. Does anyone else have this issue? EDIT: Someone on the OnePlus forums posted about this on Nov 9th, narrowed it down to keyboard audio. Turning it off or putting phone on silent fixes it [link] [comments]
How is the OP6 Android 10 roll out going ? Posted: 12 Dec 2019 01:02 PM PST Cause I'm really looking forward to it and it seems like it's taking an eternity for me to get it Btw I'm not really into downloading it from an app, looks kinda sketchy to me [link] [comments]

Is this normal behavior? OP7P [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Dec 2019 04:53 AM PST The update has supposedly been rolled out but I don't have it. Is it only a select region (I'm in Europe) or is it a gradual rollout for all phones worldwide and I have not been selected? [link] [comments] |
