Posted: 16 Dec 2019 04:46 PM PST OnePlus been really great with updates till early this year or till it launched OnePlus 7. I honestly think they have too many models to support with updates and security patches. As a result of small team and more models, they b are failing at releasing good quality and stable updates. Im not sure of OnePlus 7 or 7T but as owner of OnePlus 6, I feel burnt with update.Phone is buggy, it shows random lags now and security patch is no where to be seen. If this continues then I OnePlus will loose its reputation for being a reliable android phone maker and will become something similar to Samsung, LG or any other phone maker. Once I run out of my patience, I don't think I will come back to OnePlus. [link] [comments]

I have a op6 and i noticed a high battery drain while idle. What do i do? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 05:09 AM PST So, i noticed that while sleeping the phone would drain 5 to 6% battery if on battery saver mode and would drain 10 to 14% battery if battery saver is turned off. I sleep with wifi, bluetooth and gps turned off plus in battery settings i dont see any app or system process that might be the culprit. I still have android 9. Have you had such issues and any idea how to resolve it? [link] [comments]

Convinced a friend on mine to get a 7T! Posted: 16 Dec 2019 02:09 PM PST My friend isn't really a tech savvy person and he's never had good phones, we went on a school trip in March and he saw my OnePlus 6T, he seemed to like it but never nothing out of the ordinary, finally, today he sent me a screencap of his order for a OnePlus 7T, and I'm super excited to have another OnePlus member over here specially because I've never seen OnePlus where I live (Southern Europe). Just wanted to share my excitement [link] [comments]
Worst customer service I've ever experienced (Canada) Posted: 16 Dec 2019 01:05 PM PST Here I am looking to vent my frustrations on the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've been trying to buy a phone since Cyber Monday. The website has been able to accept my credit card, however lingers on "processing transation" forever until it cancels itself after a week. Here are my customer service interactions:
You may ask me why I didn't just try a different payment system... well I was being stubborn but also there's no reason my credit card wouldn't work. I've bought a couple things on it over $1,000 from various sources with no problem. I know I should have just switched to Paypal the third time around, but I didn't. Reconsidering giving my money to this company after such shitty support. [link] [comments]
7 Pro for myself on a Verizon family plan Posted: 16 Dec 2019 05:35 PM PST My family and I have Verizon, all iPhones, except me. I'm currently on the og pixel XL. If I get the 7 Pro and have to CDMA and whatever else, will I screw up the cell service for everyone? [link] [comments]
Where is Android 10 update for OnePlus 7Pro? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 04:06 PM PST I've been hearing that it's been rolled out already, but using the system updater in the settings and it still says that I have the latest update which is 9.5.13.GM21AA. I have the unlocked version of the device, purchased directly from the OnePlus store. Anyone else without an official update? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Dec 2019 12:12 PM PST This is frustrating. I've been used to these gestures for the last month or so, and since 10.0.3 they've removed them? Why?!? Who thought this was a good idea?! If anything I wanted a little more space to pull out side menus, not remove that ability all together! *Sigh* back to the original ones from the bottom. Edit: this is the Oneplus 7 Pro. EDIT again: also, what the hell have they done to the text colour in the app drawer?? http://imgur.com/a/SHPowAQ [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Dec 2019 02:10 PM PST I just ordered a 7T and I'm really excited since I'm upgrading from using cheap phones for years, but now my question is, are the Android Pie gestures available on it? (I mean, the type of navbar that includes only a back button and a weird home button). I haven't really found any useful answer, but I'm really curious, sorry guys! [link] [comments]
Unlocked 7T but still shows T-Mobile load screen. Posted: 16 Dec 2019 06:51 PM PST I have a 7T purchased through TMobile that was recently paid off and unlocked. I can confirm phone is carrier unlocked in settings but when powering up I still get the pink T-Mobile load screen. Tried waiting a few days and still the same screen. Is this a bug or is the device forever stuck with the original carrier load screen? [link] [comments]

Are there any good and reliable Gcam mods for OP6T for A10? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 04:24 AM PST I recently upgraded to Android 10 by the staged rollout, and was hoping that would allow me to use Gcam 7.0+ instead of using 6.2. Are there any stable Gcam mods, for which all modes (portrait, night sight, photo sphere, anything photo-related) work reliably? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Dec 2019 05:34 PM PST I think the stock Notes app is too basic, it has checkboxes and stuff but it lacks functions like bold italic and underline, maybe changing of fonts and colors. etc? Would be glad if there's a solution to this or an alternative! [link] [comments]
T-Mobile Seems to Leave OnePlus 7 Pro Behind Posted: 16 Dec 2019 08:37 PM PST The Samsung S10 and some of their other models on T-Mo is getting Android 10 now! Looks like T-Mo has decided to back out on updating the OnePlus 7 Pro phone as they stated. In the past, they have always said they have waited on the OEM. Then would update phones as soon as testing build. I guess they pushed testing the OnePlus testing behind Samsung? So now Samsung which is notoriously known for being slow for updating phones has updates for T-Mo versions. OnePlus which is known for the quickest updates is now months behind. We were promised bi-monthly security updates. Mine still shows September 1st. Guess that was a marketing statement instead of a commitment. Respect is earned over time, but lost in an instant. I have read if we update to the latest Oxygen OS that we lose some functionality on the T-Mo network. I am also not comfortable altering my phone because OnePlus did not include the Oxygen Updater on the phone in agreement with T-Mo. I have to believe there could be technical reasons (I don't know for sure). There have also been some implications that the OnePlus Android 10 update is not stable for everyday use. If that were true then I believe there would be a great outpouring of news. In fact, I have heard if there are bugs that flashes are put out very quickly. That is the reason I bought the OnePlus 7 Pro. I value people that admit mistakes, but trust them even more if they react quickly to correct them. T-Mo is playing games with phone support. I know OnePlus scored big by landing a deal with T-Mo, but allowing a partner to diminish product line and reputation can have far reaching implications. OnePlus, please help your end-users on T-Mobile experience your product as all your other customers. [link] [comments]
How staged rollout really works? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 05:29 AM PST When ever a new updated is rolled out there are, inevitably, a lot of people posting about how they did not get the update and the general answer is that is a staged rollout and they should wait... But how that staged rollout really works for OnePlus? Do they release it to certain country first? Or several countries at a time? Certain IMEI's form those countries first? or all devices? Certain IMEI's globally? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Dec 2019 08:07 PM PST I wanted to move some mp3 files to other folders but I don't see any file moving option except copying [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Dec 2019 08:03 PM PST I ordered a 7t yesterday and was super excited to join the community. However, I'm starting to get cold feet and wonder if I should cancel my order. There are some potential dealbreaking issues on the software end, not to mention the OLED lottery.
Just wondering if these are just growing pains from transitioning to android 10, and if (based on oneplus's track record) they will be addressed promptly? I still have a chance to cancel but would lose my student beans voucher.. looking to get some feedback! [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Dec 2019 02:02 PM PST I am confused. All was well, I am trying to work out how to fill up my memory :) It just died. Tried to switch it on, wouldn't even begin to start. Nothing. Dug out old faithful as I need a phone for work. Waited a few days with it unplugged, wondering what to do. Just now plugged it in again and it has just fully charged and is fine. I really can't have a phone that just stops working. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Dec 2019 07:14 PM PST Great visual updates, great new features and gestures. I absolutely LOVE small things like being able to swipe through opened apps and being able to glimpse notifications at lock screen only when unlocked. etc. Haven't been noticing battery life yet but I'll see how it goes! Internet connection after 10.0.7 (OP7T) Posted: 16 Dec 2019 11:26 AM PST My internet connection does not work after 10.0.7 update. Nothing i have done has fixed the problem. Wi-Fi works fine but mobile data doesn't. Anyone else experiencing this?? [link] [comments]

I have a oneplus 7t. I can't change the lock screen from the 'shot on oneplus' option. Posted: 16 Dec 2019 06:05 PM PST I change it to something else and then after a while unsure of how long exactly but it'll change back to the 'shot on oneplus' Any suggestions or fixes? [link] [comments]
