[Windows 10 PC] I figured out how to have audio go through the 3.5 mm jack in the back of the computer as well as the 3.5 mm jack in the front port at the same time. But I can't figure out how to make audio go through a USB wireless headset in the back and a 3.5 mm jack in the front.

I am using a Logitech G533 wireless gaming headset. When I plug it into the back USB slot I can not make the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the front work at the same time. I am able to switch the sound to either one, as well as have sound playing from one while the test sound works from the other at the same time... but having them both play the same audio (a video game) does not work. It works fine if I use the 3.5 mm jacks in both the front and back of the computer though.

    I followed this guide: https://windowsreport.com/play-sound-2-devices-windows-10/

However, it didn't work until I tested out using the 3.5 mm jack in the back with the 3.5 mm jack in the front. Once I tried using my USB wireless headset it no longer worked.

For extra info here is a previous post I made when I was first attempting to solve the issue:

Was told t might be a good idea to clean install windows. I've been trying for hours.

So I'm trying to reinstall windows 10. First thing I do was create a media tool onto a USB. Then I rebooted and went to install Win10. I get about 60-80% into it and it fails. Tried it about 6 more times and it fails. From the code I saw it looked like it was a media problem. Says it can't install the required files. So I use a new USB. Same thing keeps happening. Once or twice it has gotten to the finishing up stage and then rebooted only to load the installer again. And then I thought I needed to do that again so I would try and it would fail. Repeat. I've become so frustrated. I'm not a very technological savy person. I tried going into the bios to look at the boot order but that is over my head. I had no idea what any of it meant.

    3d print diy

    Posted: 28 Dec 2019 09:49 AM PST

Does anyone know if 3d printing a gpu support is a bad idea?

When 3d printers print the plastic, it's about 200 C but the computer can't get over 100 C in the worst case ((☞ ͡ ͡° ͜ Ê– ͡ ͡°)☞) scenario. At what temp does 3d printed plastic melt or soften? I don't believe it will touch the gpu PCB, only the plastic shroud and the other end will screw into the mobo standoffs and metal case.

I'm building a small form factor with a micro atx board b 450, ryzen 1200, rx 560 power color, 550 watt psu. The case is 1 inch to short to mount the gpu in an upright position in pcie slot so I have to mount it in a 90 degree angle of the slot.

    Thanks for any advise.

Heavy Microphone static with corsair hs35

    Posted: 27 Dec 2019 08:56 PM PST

When I play on ps4 I use the corsair hs35 and when I talk to my friends every 30 minutes to an hour there's quite a lot of static from my mic that they hear. I can fix it with muting and unmuting myself but it still persists, I'd like to see if there's any way to stop this permanently.

Mouse and keyboard stop working as widows 7 starts!

    Posted: 27 Dec 2019 08:15 PM PST

Searched the web, Gigabyte forum. New Gigabyte AB350N motherboard w Ryzen 5 1600 cpu, windows 7.

Mouse and keyboard work fine in the bios regardless of whichever USB port is used but when trying to install windows 7 on a fresh drive, Mouse and keyboard pull a Houdini! No way to get past the first screen of input.

Picking up a ps2 keyboard tomorrow as a possibility. Gone into the bios and changed all of the settings for the usb ....

Anyone else experiencED this. Glad this isn't one of my work pcs.

    desktop files randomly went missing.

    Posted: 27 Dec 2019 02:54 PM PST

I was on after effects and i rendered out a png sequence and then when i went to see where the png sequence is i saw a folder (ae usually creates a folder for png sequences) in side the folder was all of my desktop files for some reason, so i try to open a file in there to see how it all got in there. it gave me some sort of message saying that my desktop was unavailable. i restarted my pc to see if that would help but all the files on my desktop just vanished. is there any way to get my files back or are they gone for good?
