Restore HDMI on Samsung Hospitality Mode Posted: 17 Dec 2019 12:07 PM PST Currently on an NCL cruise. Samsung smart TV is in Hospitality mode. I want to hookup to the (diabled) HDMI port. I've tried codes to access this menu directly and to access the service menu. Problem is, all these menus seem to be password protected and I can't proceed. I tried all zeros, but that doesn't work. Tried a code that supposedly resets password to 0000, but no luck. The password is 0-9 and can be up to 6 or 7 digits (not sure) so no guessing here. Anybody have any ideas? [link] [comments]

Primary monitor flickers and "resets" about 2 hours after secondary HDMI monitor is turned off. Posted: 17 Dec 2019 09:57 AM PST My GPU is a RX 580 and I'm running Windows 10 64-bit. I have a 2 monitor set-up. My primary monitor is an Acer connected to my GPU by DVI cable. My secondary monitor is a flatscreen TV connected to my GPU by HDMI. Both TV and monitor are set to 1080p even though the TV can go as far as 4k. After about 2 hours of the TV being turned off, my primary monitor will flicker and the colors will sort of "reset". Also, any windows that had been moved into the TV's viewing area will be moved back over to the monitor's viewing area (browsers, etc -- I use the TV while I'm watching streaming services). This gets highly annoying, especially when I'm playing a game and the monitor flickers, pauses, flickers, colors recalibrate, flickers then goes back to normal. Is there any way to alleviate this? A setting somewhere? Thank you. [link] [comments]
