Rules 1) Please do not target any individuals or try to name/shame any individual. If you hate Google/Samsung/HTC etc. for one thing that is fine, but do not be rude to an individual app developer. 2) If you have a suggestion to solve another user's issue, please leave a comment but be sure it's constructive! We do not want any flame-wars. 3) Be respectful of other's opinions. Even if you feel that somebody is "wrong" you don't have to go out of your way to prove them wrong. | How does google photos not have a map view? Posted: 29 Dec 2019 05:00 AM PST I feel this deserves its own thread because it's frankly baffling. Google is obviously accomplished in making map software and google photos is a great service. So how is it possible that such an essential and intuitive way to enjoy and look for old photos is missing? Especially for people who travel a lot or do long hikes etc. it is very satisfying to look at a world map and be able to zoom into places you have been and remember exactly where and how photos were taken. Having to scroll through a literal list of places is no alternative whatsoever. There seem to be 3rd party alternatives and no offense to them but this feature should really be stock. And while I am at ranting about photos I also think that the editing options are subpar as well. [link] [comments]  | ||
