Why doesn't Google have a Google Play filter paid non IAP games and a console quality category?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 07:19 AM PST

I know I am not alone in wanting console quality games for my Android. Yes we have some good ports like KOTOR and BG but I would really like to see a filter for no in app purchases. Also a new category for fully developed console quality games. I would be willing to pay $30 for good game even more if it's really good.

Games like "sword and glory" but more finished?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 08:25 PM PST

Title. I really like the game and can't find any more like it. Something with a good real-time combat system that's... gritty? I'm not sure how to phrase it.

[Request] Simple ARPG with satisfying character progression?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 12:00 PM PST

    • Absolutely NO MICROTRANSACTIONS. I'm willing to pay an upfront price for the game, but it needs to be designed without being grindy and requiring further monetary investment.
    • No roguelites. I want persistent and satisfying character progression.
    • Simple one-handed movement and combat.

I've been playing The Greedy Cave lately, but I don't like the roguelike element where you lose most of your loot when existing a cave, and the game's progression is so slow, it's obviously trying to milk me for microtransactions. Also, some of the stats-related choices are just a tad too complicated for my taste. Everything else seems about perfect, so it's a good basis for any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Looking for games similar to Merge Mansion

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 04:50 PM PST

I'm in the beta for Merge Mansion and I've been having a lot of fun.

It's a basic game, you have a shed full of items that you need to merge, two at a time to reach the item needed for the next unlock.

Screenshot of main playing screen http://imgur.com/a/r8PrtSD

Merge Dragons is sort of similar although it's a 3 merge not 2 and has puzzles.

    Any ideas?

Grimvalor stuttering on Pixel 4 XL

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 09:43 PM PST

I'm loving Grimvalor but finding it stutters during fights with multiple mobs or when I'm entering new areas, even with all graphics turned down and smooth display (90hz display) off.

Anyone else having issues with the frame rate like this or know how to fix it?

    e-Sports Games like Summoners War?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 05:36 PM PST

I recently got a new phone for Christmas and stumbled upon Summoners War and found it to be so fun. Researching about it, I found out that it's one of the biggest games right now for tournaments and I'm curious if there are any other games that are in e-sports. Thanks!

    GRID, almost excellent.

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 06:47 AM PST

Let down by truly horrendous drifting. As it's one of the core 9 activities, this is a real shame.

For anyone who enjoys playing touch screen, as soon as you hit the first corner, it's in a permanent spin. A never ending ice rink with no control.

Just look at Real Drift Car Racing to see how drifting can be setup. No configuration changes should be needed, just for one section of the game.

Any tile-based games based with a heavy emphasis on ecology?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 04:35 PM PST

Has anyone seen any decent games that are tile based and have an emphasis on ecology? Maybe a game where you're building out a biodome or something environmental, climate or ecology based...I know this is pretty vague, but mostly because I don't know exactly what I'm looking for.

Any good (if possible offline) hack n slash/ARPG/honkaiimpact-esque game?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 08:11 PM PST

Hey! I've been playing some honkai impact lately but I don't really like how it needs to be online to let you in the game since I usually play with my phone when I'm not home and no wifi network is available. Still, it's not a requirement.
I don't care if it's top-down or 3rd person behind-the-character camera, but I prefer the latter, I'm looking for a really action focused game, not a game like Titan Quest where you don't move a whole lot when you attack and stuff.

I have no problem paying money for it, I just want something fun.

    Thanks

[Request] Playable FPS with gyroscope control options

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 03:48 PM PST

Anything any of you have had fun with that involves shooting and using the gyro/tilt controls in your phone that isn't trash would be appreciated!

For me personally, I've realized it's the key to enjoying shooters on mobile since it frees your fingers up for more responsive shooting and avoids the need for the auto-fire BS so many other games have built into them lately.

In my limited experience on Android I've downloaded about ~8 games over the last year and I have to say Critical Ops and Call of Duty are probably tied for feeling the best with the gyro shooting. Even better the way CoD allows u to only use the gyro when ADS for that refined sense of control when u need it. But since it's not something games ever bother to include in their descriptions, Im not too keen on downloading a bunch of other games just to maybe see in the menus if it's possible or not.

    Thoughts, recommendations?

    Thanks!

How Snapdragon 730/G perform with Delta Touch and Dolphin LoZ Twilight Princess?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 05:47 PM PST

Hi. I want to buy a new phone with this cpu, but I'm still not sure about that. I just can't find any info about how good (or bad) this cpu performs with two games: Dolphin - LoZ Twilight Princess - in particular in Hyrule Field location, this is most stressful location for emulator. And how good it performs in Delta Touch, GZDoom 4 mode (budget hardware already sweaty at this moment), Brutal Doom mod (true stress test).

I like to play games (and sometimes do other stuff, which needs some powerful hardware), and at first i thought about getting some flagship smartphone, but it's pricey, so maybe i don't need to pay that much and this cpu just enough for me?

[request] indie game with good controls and graphics 3-5$

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 08:41 AM PST

I like generally action-adventure games but you can suggest something else if it fits the description.. Also the minimum length should be around 5 hours. Budget is very strict no more than 5$. (I know I could get stardew valley but I would preferably play it on console than on phone.)

I'm a big fan of the combat of this game, and the gacha elements to it. Any other game where you slingshot champions into enemies to fight them?
