    Inconsistent dark mode in apps on 7 pro?

    Just checking if anyone else has experienced this/knows of a fix.

    I upgraded to Android 10 a few weeks ago and most of the apps which support system wide dark theme automatically went to dark theme (most of supported gsuite and Instagram) which was great! But over the past few days some of those apps have switched back to light theme despite not changing the system theme or in-app theme settings. So far the culprits are the Google app, play store and Instagram but not Google pay or chrome. (Gmail never switched over in the first place).

    Has anyone else experienced this or know of this is a known problem? It sucks because most of these apps don't have in-app settings for dark theme and just follow the system theme. I've tried restarting and switching to a light system theme then back to dark but nothing. Thanks!

    Hi all,

    I've just moved from an S10 Plus and I love it!

    I love the OnePlus software already; the fact that you can change icon packs without having to install a 3rd party launcher means I doubt I'll ever install a launcher. I'm still setting it up and learning new things and it'll take me some time to get all customised and how I like it!

    Only things I've noticed so far which I wouldn't class as negatives just niggles are:

    1. It's heavy but feels robust, probably the heaviest device I've ever owned! Coming from the S10 plus it's a jump!
    2. AOD - I hope 1+ look at customising AOD, as it feels like what Samsung's was like when it first came out. Would be nice to keep the AOD on all the time etc.
    3. Rise to wake/Double-tap to wake customisation - I hope 1+ allow customisation, as coming from a Pixel 3 XL and S10 which both allowed the screen to wake up instead of having to use the power button. Unless it's me and I've not found the correct setting.
    4. Battery - Day 1 so unfair to criticise the battery, but I have a wireless charger on my desk so not having wireless charging means I've got to rethink my home/work set up!

    Happy I moved across though! 😁

    OP Biting Off More Than They Can Chew?

    Several different version of the OP7, new OPTV, already talks of OP8. Can they keep this momentum going and keep everything updated on a timely manor? I moved from the Pixel lineup because of their much more appealing look, robust customization and quick updates along with a growing hands on community. They seem to be struggling a bit with this A10 update (enjoying my 10Beta2) and hope it all gets resolved soon for the masses. Here's hoping they Never Settle!

    Tips & Tricks? Looking for insight (S8 to Pro 7)

    Hi guys - I want to know what tricks/apps/widgets people feel are essential on the OnePlus 7 Pro.

    I actually had one of the first releases of the OnePlus One so I'm excited to come back after 4-5 phones in-between.

    Installing gcam is a must - but what else have I missed for this device.

    Getting files from old huawei phone over to potential new oneplus 7 pro?

    Would i be able to transfer my files, (photos game progession ect.) Over to a oneplus device. I dont wanna lose all my progress is games like clash of clans ect. And i have some valuable photos on my phone that i would like to transfer over. If so please tell me how.

    Silent setting on alert slider not working reliably (OP6T)

    I've been having an issue recently where the silent setting on my alert slider isn't working. I slide it to the middle setting and it goes to vibrate, but then when I keep going to silent, nothing happens. It just stays on vibrate and doesn't react whatsoever. Rapidly flipping it back and forth usually does eventually make it go silent, but not reliably.

    Has anyone else had this specific issue? It's important to point out I'm running beta software (beta 17). It seems like it could be software, but I don't feel like wiping my entire phone to downgrade to stable just to maybe see if this extremely minor feature is restored. If no one else has this problem I have to conclude it's a hardware issue.

    Anyway, just wanted to check if anyone else was having this problem before I jump down the support rabbit hole.

    Some things I miss coming from my Galaxy s7

    I'm on the OP7 pro.This is a nice phone don't get me wrong but there's a lot I miss coming from the Galaxy s7 and that thing is old as heck. Also a rarely see negative feedback here so here goes.

    Well first of is the case issues I've mentioned here before. Since the phone is so niche there's no tempered glass backs and you have to use those lame plastic skins that are a nightmare to apply.

    Next the multi-window isn't great. Even the note 3 was better. Unless I don't know how to use it? So first off, on Samsung, you can swipe from the left corner to window any app. Next when two windows are open you can flip the apps around. The multi-window button is also a little more accessible.

    Then there's no secure folder, which every phone has. And no applocker is not the same thing.

    The curved screen actually sucks. Every phone has it so you can't really complain. I actually thought it would be cool but it just ads more glare and makes some things difficult. Also screen protector issues.

    Then finally, this one I can't confirm but I heard the issue where Snapchat screenshots the viewfinder instead of using a picture has been fixed on Samsung flagships and the pixels. Not a big deal but this phone is too niche for them to care.

    OnePlus 6T battery

    So I got my 6T about a month after it was released here in the US and I've had no issues at all with it until two days ago. The battery just isn't keeping a charge like it should. Yeah I keep Bluetooth turned on but I've had that on all the time and it has never made the battery drain like it has been. I appreciate your feedback!

    Turn on oneplus 3 without power button

    hey there, i would like to raise my good old oneplus 3 from the dead but the power button does not work anymore.

    is there a way i can turn on the phone without the use of the powerbutton? I read that you could hold down the volume down button to access download mode however that won't work for me since also the volume buttons are broken. They still click and everything but the buttons just don't do anything.

    Warp charge on my OnePlus 6t?

    I just got a new 6t and I bought a warp charger hoping it would work with it without thinking. When I plug it in it recognizes it's a warp charger but it then cuts off for about 2 seconds and reconnects over and over again, anyone have any tips?

    Please add the ability to use the flashlight in Zen mode

    I use Zen mode on a nearly daily basis when I am working on homework to get it done faster, I would love the ability to use the flashlight during it in case I drop something in the dark.

    How do I hide the Windows drive full of phone drivers when plugging in a Oneplus 5?

    I used to be able to prevent windows from showing the drivers CD drive that shows up when you plug a phone in. File transfer would still work, this particular setting was just to hide the oneplus drivers.
    A couple months ago in a windows update a lot of my settings got removed in a windows feature update.
    After a few hours of searching, I can't find the post I followed a year ago, I think the instructions were for the Oneplus 3. Does anyone know how to hide the drivers CD drive?

    Call of duty mobile

    Is anyone else having trouble play call of duty mobile. I have an op7pro and Everytime I load the game I get to the Activision title screen then the game closes itself and won't fully load. I can play it just fine on my work iPhone but not my personal device. Not sure if there is something in the setting I'm missing or what but it's getting kinda frustrating.
