| OnePlus 7 Pro - auto rotate doesn't always work? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 03:37 AM PDT Just wondering if anyone else has issues with rotating their phone and their screen responding? Every time I want to rotate my phone, I have to do it 3-4 times before the screen rotates to the correct orientation. It's worse going from landscape to portrait and can sometimes take me flipping the phone between the two orientations 6-8 times before it works. Is there any way of testing whatever the hardware is that detects the orientation or even better, some way of recalibrating it? I've done some searching online and they all say to type in *#808# but nothing happens when I do it (I believe oneplus removed it from a recent software update). Any help will be appreciated! I'm upgrading when I get paid was wondering whether it is actually compatible, as oneplus is technically android but makes tweaks to make it it's own OS. At least third party camera apps still can zoom with the front camera. Instagram stories would be awful without this feature. | Oneplus 7 pro Qualcomm crashdump mode Posted: 02 Sep 2019 04:58 PM PDT Ever since I've downloaded that darn Pokemon Masters game I've experienced freezes with my screen going completely blank. It had been reaching Qualcomm crashdump mode albeit with no options to choose from but I had eventually been able to boot up normally. Now I haven't even been able to do that. Sad. | Why didt I know about this phone before? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 03:36 PM PDT I recently bought an S10+ Snapdragon (coming from an iPhone X). Its been a while since I last used an Android phone (and a Samsung at that). So I was super excited to get back into rooting the S10+ and permanently removing all the junk apps and crap the phones usually get bloated with on purchase... only to find out it is unrootable at the moment with a locked bootloader! When did Samsung become the next Apple T__T. Anyways I was searching for other similar like phones and I came across the 1+7 Pro and was not only amazed at the significant price difference, but the specs being much better on the 1+7 Pro as well... and they look nearly identical minus that odd "look at my duckface" notch/selfie that is akin to the widows peak the iPhone X had that was rather annoying. Suffice it to say that I will be returning my $1500 S10+ for the much better $1000 1+7 Pro, with its beautiful Nebula Blue look and 12gbs at 256 space. NOTE: Having spent a week with the S10+ its an amazing phone but man not being able to completely eradicate the useless bloat really bothers me an annoys me.. I dont know if its a minor OCD but yea. What else is there I should know about the 1+7 Pro? Also my main question... how can I fully backup my S10+ and then transfer to the 1+7 Pro? Im super rusty and always used the amazing TiT BackUp Pro to get full backups easy peasy butt coming from iTunes and iPhone backups Im kind of scratching my head here. [link] [comments]  | ||

However, the Straight talk website has recommended a Tmobile sim, and Tmobile does have good service where I'm at. Anyone else have experience with their OP on Tmobile? Any issues? For example if I have Feedly open in dark mode and there's an image that fails to load, dragging the article leaves a trail behind the grey box. Same thing happens using relay pro in dark mode. Posted: 02 Sep 2019 01:08 PM PDT Hi, My dear OP3T broke down last week and I just got the quote from the support : 180€ I'm wondering if it's still worth reinvesting in it for a year or two or if the OP7 is worth the extra cash...(a bit under 600€ with cases) (not the best moment, clearly an unplanned expense!) All in all I'm really satisfied with the 3T (the battery did need a change though), and the camera could use some work (but comparing with my wife's iPhone is unfair)... I'd appreciate some thoughts! | OnePlus 7 Pro thinks its in a call when its not Posted: 02 Sep 2019 09:25 AM PDT I've been having an issue recently where when my phone connects to my car's bluetooth it says that I'm in a call and the only way to get it properly connected to play music is to restart the phone. If I end the call with the button on the steering wheel then music will play, but from the phone's speakers. No amount of disconnecting, forgetting, and reconnecting to the bluetooth does anything. I noticed that frequently when I push the volume buttons it will default to adjusting the call volume then the media volume is the secondary slider. So I figure the problem is the phone thinks its still in a call when its not. The only calls I often do are Instagram video calls. Sometimes just adjusting the media volume will make the call volume go away and the phone realizes its not in a call. But that doesn't always work and the only real way to fix it is to restart the phone. I didn't used to have this issue more than like 2 weeks ago and I've only had the phone for a bit more than 2 months. Does anyone know what may be causing this? I was going to wait for the Android 10 update to see if that helps before I reach out to OnePlus. [link] [comments]  |
