| Posted: 28 Sep 2019 06:59 PM PDT So when I log in from Firefox, it shows my correct tablet device, located in ze Krautreich. But when I log in from Puffin, it shows my correct device but... now it's in the USA?? An when I log in from Android browser, it adds a new device called "Linux" - the log in from a few days ago "near my country" and through Chrome for some reason (I've not opened Chrome in a week - it's synched though), and the one just now as in my country and none of that Chrome bullshit, so at least there's that. What's going on here?? Are these browsers somehow programmed to use proxy servers or mask their location / device identity - or has some creepy Linux computer somewhere tapped into my Android Browser and is now mirroring its activities and copying the passwords I type into it or sth?? I don't remember setting up any such masking extensions for those browsers, or any others so far... what's happening here? Have I been Pwned is showing my account as uncompromised so far... As far as a smartwatch goes, I really do need somethings thats good for fitness, NFC is a must, and I just want the best experience I can get, kinda looking for something like the relationship between iPhone and Apple watch. Im not sure why, but the home button keeps blinking without connecting to player 1. ive tried connecting during a game and before starting the game, but with no response. i tried connecting a third party controller, which works but i have issues on that. please do help me. thank you! Went to the service store and they reinstalled the operating system. Still the same problem, and the store doesn't really know what it is. | My cat s61 just updated to android 9 and now I hate my phone Posted: 28 Sep 2019 09:14 PM PDT android 8 was pretty alright, now I get this update forced down my throat and I absolutely loathe using my phone now. The buttons are big and hideous, the app window opens differently the recent apps tab is completely different, etc etc. I dont enjoy this at all and I want to go back to android 8. | Looking for a good app to play music Posted: 28 Sep 2019 05:19 AM PDT I'm looking for an app so I can play my music. I have always used VLC but there are a few minor issues I have with it when it comes to playing music that I'm now looking for something else: I can't stop the app from time stretching audio even when I have this option turned off. Sometimes when I rewind tracks the rewind button remains stuck until I press another button which usually takes the track back to the beginning, so frustrating. Also it can't seem to stop remembering playback position which is particularly annoying as I listen to long DJ mixes and if I want to play it again (or add it to a playlist) it will play from where it left off rather than at the beginning, even if the mix has finished. One important thing to note is that I only really play music from files saved on my SD card so being able to browse through device folders is essential. Thanks for reading! [link] [comments]  |

That's when I started to miss having an android because of the external memory. Now I'm just looking for an android phone that performs pretty well and wont explode in my face. | WiFi claims no Internet available. Cannot connect Posted: 28 Sep 2019 04:10 PM PDT When I try to connect to my home WiFi I get not Internet available and my phone refuses to connect. I have been streaming the entire time on my TV on the same WiFi so Internet is definitely there. Really annoying that it won't connect even if there isn't WiFi as I can't manage any of my router settings as I can't get on the network! Dns server is successfully returning the request to the check page http://connectivitycheck.gstatic.com which returns a http 204 as expeted. Samsung galaxy s7 edge android 8.0.0.0 tried reboots on routers, phones etc. Sometimes randomly starts working and works fine on other networks [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 28 Sep 2019 11:29 AM PDT As a sprint user I've been having a lot of trouble finding a phone that would feel like an improvement over my htc one m8. I'm not worried too much about speed or features since anything I get at this point will be an upgrade compared to my 5 year old phone but having the ability to use my phone speakers alone for music is a big deal for me. My 2 biggest choices right now are either the pixel 3 for front facing speakers but i'm not sure if im willing to lose the headphone jack as well as expandable memory. On the other hand sprint is offering a used galaxy s9 plus for cheap. I'm not the biggest fan of the edge display since I watch a lot of movies and videos on my phone in my day to day life but I'm sure it wouldn't be a big issue in the long run. I've also heard that despite not having 2 front facing speakers it still has good stereo sound but I've also heard that at the highest volume the sound can become quite tinny but unfortunately none of the stores near me have a s9 plus on display for me to test out. Should I go for the used s9 plus or is there another sprint option with great audio quality that I may not be aware of? [link] [comments]  |

No matter what app I'm in, even on the home screen, I get ads. I even got one while typing this. I've deleted the app and deleted the apk file from my phone. | Notifications not received on status bar Posted: 28 Sep 2019 05:23 AM PDT Hi guys, I have the galaxy A50 and I experience the following issue: I can't receive any notifications from text message apps (viber, messenger, what's app) on the status bar. If the screen is off, it will light up when someone texted me, but no notifications... If I listen to music, the song will fade a bit, as if I received a notification, but no sound from notification itself or any sign of message in the status bar. I now must open all apps one by one, in order for me to see if someone texted me. I tried restarting the phone, turning all kinds of notification settings on and off and on, re-installing the apps, I only didn't make a factory reset. Can you please help me. [link] [comments]  |
