How to recover MI Scale records

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 10:43 PM PDT

    Hi there,

MI scale seems to claim recording 800 record in the scale memory.

I have been using one for 4 years (the first Gen I guess).

I have lost my xiaomi account and would like to somehow recover all that data (on the app or on an excel).

Is there a way to do that?

    Thanks!

Are Mijia and huami products the same low price for good quality products like their phones?

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 10:45 AM PDT

Thinking of buying some of these stuff off aliexpress instead of buying in cheap shops like primark and stuff or cheap shops that I'd get for the same price.

Are these products worth it or is it just the same as everything else you'll find?

Find device storage corrupted your device is unsafe now - Redmi 3S Prime.

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 09:49 PM PDT

I took a backup to my old firmware with TWRP 3.0.2-0 version which was old and than updated TWRP to latest version successfully. I installed a third party ROM but it didn't worked to my liking so decided to restore back my old official MiUi ROM. Now this new TWRP asks for encryption password/pin every time during rebooting the device. When I tried to restore my back up, it asked me for encryption password which I entered correctly but but it showed me an error that "I entered correct encryption password but my data has been corrupted" and advised me to do a reset. So I wiped the phone through TWRP and it booted successfully but shown me this error:

"Find device storage corrupted your device is unsafe now"

I tried to install Fastboot ROM also but still its showing me same error. My WiFi and Bluetooth is disabled. Can't login into Mi Account.

    Kindly help.

I got a single Sim card MI 9.

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 09:43 PM PDT

I recently bought the MI 9 on Telcel which is the only Mexican distributor for xiaomi. The thing's that it comes with a single sim slot card tray, but it looks like the tray was made for two Sim cards, just the second one has not the slot. So I've just bought a double Sim card tray from ebay, but i got the wrong direction. Do u think it would works if I put that tray? Also the os, has no clue for a second Sim card setting. Oh, and sorry for the bad English here btw.

If I uninstall MIUI default apps with XiaomiADB will they install back with a new MIUI update ?

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 06:56 AM PDT

As the title say, I uninstalled some default apps on my MI 9T that I dont use, and I'm curious if the apps will reappear again or not with a new MIUI update (which of course I don't want).

Will the Mi 9T Pro have the same bands as the Mi 9T?

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 07:22 PM PDT

I have metroPCS (T-Mobile) if it's relevant. The only reason I didn't choose the Redmi K20 Pro was due to the severe lack of support, while the Mi 9T seems to support the bands that I end up using the most. Now I'm seeing that the 9T Pro is looking to launch on the 20th, and I'm wondering if I should wait for it in the case that it supports my network. Thank you!

I’m thinking seriously on getting a mi9t, but i have two questions regarding the device and i hope someone can help me

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 10:33 AM PDT

    1. i'm going to buy it in panama, i've read on a spaniard blog that the device has to be unlocked (bootloader) in order to be on spanish version because stock rom doesn't support it. Is this safe?

    2. is it better Xiaomi.eu custom rom than stock rom?

    3. which is the real internal storage for a 64gb device, only to know if it's enough or if it's better to buy the 128gb one

    sorry for my english

there are three questions, sorry for the title

Xiaomi Mi A2 strange clicky (ish) noise when putting phone down on hard surface (table, etc.)?

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 02:45 AM PDT

So, I have my Mi A2 for quite some time now and I think it is a great device but ever since I had it I'm experiencing something strange - when I put down the phone on a table for example there is a clicky (ish) one time noise coming from the back of the device. It's hardly audible so it hasn't bothered me but I saw someone mentioning about this on his MI 9 so I got curious. Strange thing is I cannot replicate this sound by shaking the phone in the air with my hand so I guess nothing inside is loose, not to mention that I haven't dropped the phone. Everything is working like it should and I haven't got any problems at all, but I was just wondering - does anyone else has this?

What to do first after unboxing Mi 9T?

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 10:49 AM PDT

After buying the OP1 and the OP3 (and after the recent OP 'flagship killers' got flagship prices) i jumped ship and bought the Xiaomi Mi 9T. It should be delivered tomorrow.

What are the first things you guys did/change/install when you received your 9T to make the user experience better? Are there any issues (notifications?) i should look at immediately?

All advice is welcome :) Thanks!

Is the difference between Global ROM and Global Version only the bands? [Redmi Note 7 Pro]

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 05:08 PM PDT

I wanted a Redmi Note 7, but the Pro version caught my eye. I'm looking to buy the Redmi Note 7 Pro to use in Canada, but only the Global ROM exists. The Global ROM has the enough bands for me, but is the OS actually any different than the Global Version? Assuming I buy a multi-lang Global ROM from the official store.

    Mi 8 broken back glass

    Posted: 15 Aug 2019 05:00 PM PDT

    Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but here it goes.

The other day I dropped my phone, it is always inside a case So I don't notice right off, but the back glass cracked all over.

The phone works properly, the camera, Fingerprint sensor all work without issues.

Since the phone is always in a case, do you think it is urgent for me to get to replaced or it's just one of those bothersome things?
